MATALAM CENTRAL DISTRICT TOUGHEN THE ADVOCACY AND AWARENESS ON COVID VACCINATION

The District Information Officer of Matalam Central District initiated the first District Webinar.
Daryl Adrian B. Torres, designated as the new District Information Officer welcomed the participants and he provided the background of the activity. He extended his deepest gratitude to all the participants who attended the webinar..
PIC, Mr. Edgar S. Gatchalian shared the statement of purpose of the said activity. He strengthened the importance of being vaccinated in the today's situation. He was one ofthe leaders who valued the efforts and initiatives given by the government securing the safety and welfare of every teacher in the field of education.
Mrs. Cecile J. Segumban, RN, the Division OK sa DepEd Coordinator enumerated the objectives of the COVID 19 Vaccine Deployment and Vaccination Program. She presented topics such as on the Importance of COVID Vaccines; the flow or process in the Vaccination, the significant reminders on before, during, and after the vaccinations, and lastly, the readiness of person in regards towards vaccine.
PIC Gatchalian appreciated the efforts and initiatives by the District Information Officer headed by Mr. Daryl Adrian B. Torres to conduct this kind of program to the welfare and safety of teachers. In this District Webinar, it gave a platform to introduce and spread awareness to all teachers in the district. The Webinar yearned the teacher- participants to be more educated and enlightened about COVID Vaccinations.
The open forum had become interactive and engaging to the participants as the Resource Speaker, Nurse Cecile answered queries, issues and concerns. It was all clarified to all the participants and they ended with positive agreements.
Above all, this District Webinar had opened doors for the school heads and teachers concerned about Covid Vaccinations wherein it needs to be clear, effective and safe to the welfare of every teachers.
