Libreng Registro Para sa Matalameño

Per Resolution No. 084 Series of 2026, of the Sangguniang Bayan under the leadership of Hon. Cheryl V. Catamco, RN hereby granted the request of the Municipal Civil Registrar, Trinidad T. Butardo, as noted and approved by the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Oscar M. Valdevieso to conduct Free Civil Registration Services, in Celebration of the 36th Civil Registration Month this (February 2026) with the theme, Navigating the Future Together: Advancing Civil Registration Vital Statistics in Shaping the Global and Regional Data Ecosystem.

In connection with this, we would like to inform the Matalameños that the office is now conducting the “Free February Civil Registration 2026”, which covers the following:

1. Free Issuance of Certified Local Copies of Birth, Marriage and Death Certificate.
2. Free On Time and Delayed Registration fees for qualified residents.
3. Free Filing Fees for Petitions under R.A. 9048 and R.A. 10172 (Corrections of Clerical Errors/ change of First Name with Certificate of Indigency).
4. Free Registration of Legal Instruments (e.g. Affidavit of Legitimation, Acknowledgement- subscribed by a lawyer).

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude first and foremost to our Almighty God for making the Kasalan sa Fiesta 2025 a meaningful and memorable celebration.

Our deepest thanks to our beloved Mayor Oscar M. Valdevieso, Vice Mayor, Cheryl V. Catamco, RN. and the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, different Heads of Offices for their full support to this event. Thank you so much for championing programs that strengthen family and bring our community closer together.

To our GAD Focal Team headed by Ms. Rose Laarni P. Dandan—thank you for your invaluable contribution and hard work in making this occasion truly special for our newlywed couples.
Thank you also to our Budget Officer, Sir Virgilio M. Fuerte, the LCR team headed by MCR Trinidad T. Butardo, and staff: Mary Jane A. Deocampo, Annalene B. Battad, Edna Fe V. Batilo, Amalia G. “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics System”

As part of the Celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month, Local Civil Registrars of Matalam headed by Municipal Civil Registrar, Trinidad Tandog Butardo, in partnership with Philippine Statistics Authority and National Commission on Muslim Filipinos conducted a Mobile Registration and Information Dissemination at Barangay Manubuan, Matalam, Cotabato on February 27, 2025.

The LCR team would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Municipal Mayor, Hon. Oscar M. Valdevieso for his unwavering support to the activities and programs of the Local Civil Registry Office.
Furthermore, our appreciation to SB Member, Hon. Jan Carlo Cristobal for gracing the event.

Our utmost gratitude to all Barangay Officials of the 17 Barangays of Matalam invited to join the event who were present, especially to Barangay Manubuan Officials, headed by Barangay Captain, Hon. Arthur Mark L. Pulanco, for helping us in the preparation and restoration of the venue, and all our Muslim brothers and sisters who participated. Shukran!

Pre-Marriage Orientation (PMO) for Kasalan sa Fiesta Couples is finally concluded on the following dates respectively: October 30, 2024, November 8, 2024 & November 22, 2024.

PMO is a prerequisite in marriage application, primarily, to help couples prepare for the responsibilities of marriage and family life.

Our heartfelt thanks to the faciltators and to the applicants for their active participation and compliance.
