Bringing healthcare closer to our coconut farmers! 🌴💚

The Department of Agriculture – Philippine Coconut Authority is currently conducting the “BAYANIYUGAN SA KALUSUGAN: MOBILE HEALTH SERVICES” at Malipayon Park Gym, Poblacion, Matanao, Davao del Sur on June 02, 2026, a priority program of the Office of the President, Department of Agriculture, and the Philippine Coconut Authority, aimed at providing accessible healthcare services to coconut farmers and their families.

Together, we continue to promote the health and well-being of our coconut farming communities through accessible and quality healthcare services.

The Office of the Municipal Agriculturist successfully conducted the distribution of assorted vegetable seedlings to Brgy. Colonsabac and Brgy. Cabasagan. This initiative aims to support backyard gardening, promote food sustainability, and encourage every household to engage in vegetable production for a healthier and more productive community. 💚🥬🌶️

The DTI Provincial Office successfully conducted the Packaging and Labeling Enhancement Seminar for Value Added Tilapia to the members of KCC Tilapia Growers SLP Association held at Brgy. Manga, Matanao, Davao del Sur.

The activity provided valuable learnings on proper packaging, product presentation, and labeling standards to help improve and promote locally processed tilapia products. Special thanks to the resource speaker from Department of Science and Technology Region XI for sharing meaningful knowledge, practical insights, and expertise that greatly inspired and educated the participants throughout the seminar.
