🏆 GOOD NEWS: City of Mati Earns Top Award for Financial Excellence!

The City Government of Mati, through the City Treasurer’s Office, has been honored with the prestigious Seal of Local Financial Excellence by the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) Regional Office XI.

Acting City Treasurer Anne Margarette Silva, CPA, formally accepted the award during a recognition ceremony in Davao City.

Out of all the cities in Region XI, only the City of Mati and the Island Garden City of Samal (Igacos) received this highest "Excellent" rating for Fiscal Year 2025.

Mati was recognized for its outstanding performance in three key areas:

- Accuracy and Timeliness of financial reports.

- Efficiency in local revenue and tax collection.

- Strong Revenue Growth compared to the previous year.

This milestone highlights our local government's commitment to transparent, responsible fiscal management and effective public service.
