On March 26, 2026, a formal Turnover of Accountabilities was conducted at the Municipal Treasurer’s Office of Manay, Davao Oriental, marking a significant transition in leadership and public service.

The activity signified the official turnover of duties, responsibilities, and accountabilities from the 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗧. 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗼𝘀, to the 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿, 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗚. 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘇, following the former’s mandatory retirement from government service.

Ms. Burgos served the office with dedication and professionalism throughout her tenure. Her contributions helped support the continued delivery of financial and revenue services to the Municipality of Manay. She has been part of the office’s efforts in maintaining accountability and proper financial management in local governance.

Engr. Rodriguez, who assumes the role in a concurrent capacity pursuant to DOF Department Personnel Order No. 244.2026, expressed her readiness to continue the programs and initiatives of the office while ensuring continuity in the delivery of essential treasury services. On the same day, she also attended the Sangguniang Bayan Session for the immediate passage of a Resolution acknowledging her as the new authorized signatory of the Municipality for relevant bank transactions, ensuring that the financial operations of the LGU remain uninterrupted.

The turnover ceremony underscores the importance of continuity in public service and reaffirms the commitment of the Municipal Treasurer’s Office to maintain efficient and responsive financial administration for the Municipality of Manay.

𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗘-𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗦 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗠𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵

Following the successful implementation at the Municipal Assessor’s Office last January 2026, the Municipality of San Isidro, Davao Oriental, has completed the E-TRACS Administration and Users Training and System Launching at the Municipal Treasurer's Office (MTO) from March 12-17, 2026. The activity was facilitated by Mr. Prudence Gerald Serra of PTO Davao Oriental, providing technical guidance and hands-on training to MTO personnel. This marks the full operationalization of E-TRACS in the LGU.

The Provincial Treasurer’s Office commends MTO San Isidro, under the exemplary leadership of Municipal Treasurer Eden N. Rañises, for its commitment to innovation and efficient public service delivery, further strengthening transparency and accountability in local revenue management.

Going forward, the Office will ramp up the implementation of the system in the remaining municipalities to establish a fully synchronized real property tax administration system, paving the way for the Province’s eventual adoption and implementation of online payment facilities to better serve client taxpayers.
