True public service flourishes when national agencies and local government units unite with one visionโto bring meaningful, accessible, and life-changing government services closer to every Filipino community.
In steadfast support of the Launching of the LGU Tarragona โKALINAW UG KALAMBUANโ Serbisyo Caravan, the Land Transportation Office Region XI (LTO XI), under the visionary leadership of Regional Director ATTY. ERNESTO RAPHAEL V. ROBILLO, actively participated in todayโs historic activity through the representation of MR. LLOYD D. BUCOD, District Head of LTO R-XI Mati District Office, reaffirming the agencyโs unwavering commitment to responsive governance, road safety, and service excellence.
Held at Barangay Cabagayan, Tarragona, Davao Oriental, the launching served as a powerful demonstration of the Municipal Government of Tarragonaโs dedication, under the dynamic leadership of Hon. Mayor Art Benjie โKakaโ C. Bulaong, PhD, to bring essential government services directly to the people while fostering peace, development, and inclusive community empowerment.
As one of the Municipalityโs committed Road Safety Advocacy Partners, LTO XI proudly reinforced its institutional partnership with LGU Tarragona through the B.O.S.S. (Barangay Outreach & Support Services) Projectโa flagship initiative that brings government services closer to every barangay while cultivating responsible, law-abiding, and safety-conscious road users. The B.O.S.S. Project delivers accessible LTO frontline services through community-based outreach, including free Theoretical Driving Courses, Student Permit applications, Driverโs License renewal, and Motor Vehicle Registration renewal.
During the activity, the LTO Mati District Office Team, led by District Head Lloyd D. Bucod, conducted an extensive Information Dissemination on LTO laws, rules, and regulations, strengthening public awareness on road safety, responsible driving, and legal compliance. Simultaneously, the team carried out client profiling to identify and prepare qualified beneficiaries for the forthcoming dedicated rollout of the B.O.S.S. Project in Tarragona, ensuring that future LTO services will be delivered more efficiently, conveniently, and directly to the communities that need them most.
This meaningful collaboration once again highlights the strengthened and enduring partnership between LTO Region XI and the Local Government Unit of Tarragonaโa partnership founded on shared responsibility, mutual trust, and a collective vision of promoting road safety, improving accessibility to government services, and advancing people-centered governance.
Together, LTO XI and LGU Tarragona remain steadfast in sustaining this partnership as a model of good governance, ensuring that every initiative translates into tangible benefits for the people and upholding the highest standards of Service Excellence Delivery for every client, every community, and every generation.
โRoad safety begins with informed citizens, strengthened partnerships, and a government that brings its services closer to the people.โ
