TINGNAN | Chicken Egg Statistics (April to June 2026) 🐔🥚

Mula Abril hanggang Hunyo 2026, tumaas ng 13.2% ang produksyon ng itlog ng manok kumpara sa kaparehong quarter noong 2025. Kasabay nito, lumaki rin ng 7.3% ang kabuuang imbentaryo ng laying flock.

Samantala, bumaba naman ng 7.9% ang average farmgate price ng itlog, kasabay din ng pagbaba ng average retail price nito ng 1.6% kumpara sa kaparehong quarter noong 2025.

LOOK | Seasonally Adjusted Volume of Livestock and Poultry Production (April to June 2026)

For April to June 2026, deseasonalized volume of production for hog 🐖 and cattle 🐄 declined by 0.6% and 4.3%, respectively.

Meanwhile, chicken 🐔 and chicken egg 🥚 production increased by 0.8% and 2.4%, respectively, from the previous quarter’s seasonally adjusted production.

LOOK | Volume of Production of Agriculture and Fisheries (April to June 2026)

The sectoral volume of production for the agriculture and fisheries during the second quarter of 2026 is:

🌾 Crops: 20.84 million metric tons (▼ 5.5%)
🐄 Livestock: 530.32 thousand metric tons (▲ 3.8%)
🐔 Poultry: 841.70 thousand metric tons (▲ 6.3%)
🐟 Fisheries: 1.03 million metric tons (▲ 2.0%)

Livestock, poultry, and fisheries sub-sector posted production gains, while crops registered a decline in output compared to the same period in 2025.

Mula Abril hanggang Hunyo 2026, ang seasonally adjusted volume of production at quarter-on-quarter growth rate ng bangus, tilapia, at galunggong ay ang sumusunod:

🐟Bangus – 84.30 thousand metric tons, -3.5% growth rate
🐟Tilapia – 85.84 thousand metric tons, 9.3% growth rate
🐟Galunggong – 64.34 thousand metric tons, 11.8% growth rate

LOOK | Fisheries Situation Report (April–June 2026)

The total fisheries production during the second quarter of 2026 reached an estimated 1.03 million metric tons, representing a 2.0% increase from the 1.01 million metric tons posted in the same period of 2025.

Positive growth in commercial fisheries, marine municipal fisheries, and inland municipal fisheries contributed to the overall increase. Meanwhile, aquaculture recorded a decline in production.

In June 2026, employed persons in the Philippines worked an average of 40.6 hours per week, higher than the average recorded in June 2025 at 40.5 hours. However, it is lower than the average recorded in May 2026 at 41.1 hours.

The Services sector 🏢 continued to account for the largest share of employed persons in the Philippines at 62.7% in June 2026.

Meanwhile, the Agriculture 🌾 and Industry 🏭 sectors accounted for 20.0% and 17.3% of the total employment, respectively.
