The Philippine Statistics Authority ( ), through the Community-Based Monitoring System ( ), collects data on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) at the community level, including information on households' access to proper handwashing facilities such as:

๐Ÿšฟ Type of Handwashing Facility
๐Ÿ’ง Water Availability
๐Ÿงผ Presence of Soap or Detergent

These insights help local government units (LGUs) design better programs, provide hygiene supplies, make water accessible to the community, and deliver targeted health interventions to families who need them most.

IN PHOTOS | Key insights and meaningful discussions during the National Dialogue on the Philippine Set of Climate Change Statistics and Indicators

Held on 09 to 11 December 2025, the panel discussion underscored the importance of reliable climate data in shaping evidence-based policies, strengthening inter-agency collaboration, improving climate financing, and advancing sustainable and resilient development for the Philippines.

Additionally, the discussion marked the launch of the project, โ€œStrengthening Capacity to Produce and Use Statistics for Effective Climate Action in Asia and the Pacific,โ€ currently undertaken by the Philippine Statistics Authority in partnership with the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP).

The initiative reflects the PSAโ€™s continuing commitment to enhancing climate resilience through data-driven action and informed decision-making.

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) invites members of the media and the public to the Press Conference on the May 2026 Inflation Report on 05 June 2026 (Friday) at 9:00 AM

PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, will present and discuss the latest inflation figures and key highlights of the report.

Media personnel may participate either onsite at the 9th Floor, Media Center, PSA Headquarters, PSA Complex, East Avenue, Diliman, Quezon City, or virtually via Zoom.

PANOORIN | Personal na pinangunahan ni Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Undersecretary Claire Dennis S. Mapa, PhD, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General, kasama si PSA Negros Island Region OIC Regional Director John F. Campomanes, ang mga inisyatibang naglalayong ilapit ang mahahalagang serbisyo ng PSA sa mga komunidad sa Negros Occidental.

Sa isinagawang โ€œOne Time, Big-Time Serbisyo Caravanโ€ sa Binalbagan, direktang naihatid ang mga serbisyo tulad ng National ID registration, civil registration, at assistance para sa Digital National ID upang gawing mas madali at mas accessible ang serbisyo para sa bawat Pilipino.

Bilang bahagi rin ng Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP), personal na ipinagkaloob ang unang kopya ng birth certificate ni Nanay Lourdes J. Batulay, isang centenarian beneficiary, upang matulungan siyang maka-access ng mga benepisyo at serbisyo ng pamahalaan.

Nagsagawa rin ng pagbisita o spot checking sa PSA Negros Occidental Provincial Statistical Office upang tiyakin ang patuloy na pagpapabuti ng operasyon at paghahatid ng serbisyo publiko.

Sa pangunguna ni Usec. Mapa, alinsunod sa direktiba ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., patuloy na pinalalakas ng PSA ang mga programang naglalapit ng dekalidad at maaasahang serbisyo sa mga Pilipino saan mang panig ng bansa. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)'s National ID authentication services (NIDAS) are now being utilized at the Technical Resource Lab (TRL) of Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU)'s Business Insights Laboratory for Development (BUILD), formalized through a signing ceremony at the ADMU campus in Katipunan, Quezon City.

This allow students to directly experience real-time identity verification through the National ID in fulfillment of a larger goal to establish the Philippine TRL to catalyze Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) adoption in the Philippines by fostering a developer ecosystem that connects government, industry, the academe, and technological communities.

Academic institutions interested in onboarding with the National ID system may reach the PSA through the Government Service Use Case Division (๐ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐œ๐@๐ฉ๐ฌ๐š.๐ ๐จ๐ฏ.๐ฉ๐ก) for public schools and state universities and colleges, and the Financial and Private Sector Use Case Division (๐Ÿ๐ฉ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐œ๐@๐ฉ๐ฌ๐š.๐ ๐จ๐ฏ.๐ฉ๐ก) for private schools and universities, respectively, or follow the onboarding process via the National ID eVerify at ๐ก๐ญ๐ญ๐ฉ๐ฌ://๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ฒ.๐ ๐จ๐ฏ.๐ฉ๐ก.

26 May 2026 - Cateel, Davao Oriental- In an important initiative to enhance the accuracy of demographic information, National ID personnel from the Provincial Statistical Office-Davao Oriental conducted a mobile registration event focused on updating the inconsistent and incorrect data of senior citizens in the Municipality of Cateel. This event took place over two days, from 25 to 26 May 2026. The mobile registration was organized in response to a formal request from the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office, specifically the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs in Cateel. The collaboration aimed to provide essential services to local senior citizens and ensure the authenticity and accuracy of their recorded information. This effort underscores the commitment to support the senior community and maintain reliable data for better service delivery.

Ang Community-Based Monitoring System ( ) ay nagbibigay ng household-level data na tumutulong sa local government units (LGUs) at National Government Agencies (NGAs) na magplano nang mas maayos para sa bawat pamilya at barangay.

Dahil sa CBMS, mas nakikita ang tunay na kalagayan ng bawat komunidad, kaya mas maayos ang programa at serbisyong naabot ng lahat. ๐Ÿ˜๏ธ๐Ÿ’™
