TINGNAN | Chicken Egg Statistics (April to June 2026) πŸ”πŸ₯š

Mula Abril hanggang Hunyo 2026, tumaas ng 13.2% ang produksyon ng itlog ng manok kumpara sa kaparehong quarter noong 2025. Kasabay nito, lumaki rin ng 7.3% ang kabuuang imbentaryo ng laying flock.

Samantala, bumaba naman ng 7.9% ang average farmgate price ng itlog, kasabay din ng pagbaba ng average retail price nito ng 1.6% kumpara sa kaparehong quarter noong 2025.

Meanwhile, chicken πŸ” and chicken egg πŸ₯š production increased by 0.8% and 2.4%, respectively, from the previous quarter’s seasonally adjusted production.

🐟 Fisheries: 1.03 million metric tons (β–² 2.0%)

Livestock, poultry, and fisheries sub-sector posted production gains, while crops registered a decline in output compared to the same period in 2025.

The total fisheries production during the second quarter of 2026 reached an estimated 1.03 million metric tons, representing a 2.0% increase from the 1.01 million metric tons posted in the same period of 2025.

Positive growth in commercial fisheries, marine municipal fisheries, and inland municipal fisheries contributed to the overall increase. Meanwhile, aquaculture recorded a decline in production.
