The 66th Infantry (KABALIKAT) Battalion, Philippine Army, received the 10ID Streamer Award for being the Best Battalion Calendar Year 2026 and Top 1 among all Battalions under the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, with an outstanding 99.40% average rating in the Annual General Inspection (AGI) 2026, Categorized as Excellent, during the 20th Founding Anniversary celebration of the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division held on August 29, 2026, in Mawab, Davao de Oro.
The milestone celebration brought together officers, enlisted personnel, civilian human resource, and stakeholders of the Division to commemorate two decades of dedicated service in sustaining peace, securing communities, and supporting development efforts in Eastern Mindanao. The celebration was graced by the Commanding General, Philippine Army. The recognition reflects the Battalionโs exemplary performance, operational effectiveness, professionalism, and sustained commitment to fulfilling its mandate of serving the people and securing its area of responsibility.
Adding to the Battalionโs achievements, three of its enlisted personnel were likewise recognized as Best Enlisted Personnel in their respective fields. TSg John A. Barranco (SC) PA was named Best Enlisted Personnel for Signal, SSg Raymond C. Salimbajon (AGS) PA for Administration, and SSg Jommel M. Ladaran (MI) PA for Intelligence.
These recognitions underscore the collective efforts, discipline, and dedication of the KABALIKAT Battalionโs officers and enlisted personnel. Their teamwork and commitment continue to strengthen the unitโs capability in contributing to peace, security, and development in communities within its area of responsibility.
