[CLEAN-UP]

Isinagawa na kahapon ang agarang pag-lilinis sa lugar kung saan itinambak ang mga basura ng mga nag-tinda ng naka-raang Pasko hanggang bago mag-bagong taon.

Sama-sama at tulong-tulong ang mga tauhan ng Market Sweepers at Garbage Collector ng Lokal na Gobyerno ng Matnog para maalis ang naturang mga basura.

Paki-usap din ng LGU sa mga residente at mga dumarayo na nag-titinda sa Palengke, na maging disiplinado sa pag-tatapon ng kanilang mga basura.

[DISASTER RESPONSE]

Due to heavy and continuos rains caused by Northeast Monsoon and Shearline affecting Southern Luzon and Visayaz; some of the Poblacion Barangays in Matnog are now flooded particularly in low lying areas.

Through the direct order of Mayor Claudith M. So, the Matnog Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) together with the PNP and BFP initiated the forced evacuation in Barangay Tabunan.

The affected families are now in Matnog Covered Court for their temporary shelter and give foods by Tulong Center Staff and other immediate assistance needed.

Ham, Tinapay at Softdrinks sa bawat tahanan ang Pamaskong handog ni Mayor Claudith M. So at Lokal na Gobyerno sa lahat ng 40 Barangay ng Matnog.

Ngayong araw ng Pasko, namamahagi din sa Matnog Covered Court ng mga laruan, Hotdog at Ice Cream para sa mga Bata.

Ito ang ika-6 na taon ng pamimigay ng Pamasko sa lahat ng ating butihing alkalde, Mayor So.

GOOD NEWS!!!

The LGU Matnog headed by Mayor Claudith M. So signed the deed of donation for the PCG's utilization of a 400 square meter public lot located at Barangay Gadgaron here in the Municipality of Matnog.

Meanwhile, Philippine Coast Guard will construct a permanent Sub-Station here in the said Municipality to render services to our fellow Kababayan, specially for those who are traveling going to Visayaz and Mindanao and entering Luzon by means of Roro Vessels using Matnog Port.
