The successful conduct of our Tree Growing Activity, with the theme “Shade Today. Shield Tomorrow,” highlights the collective commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. Spearheaded by the Office of the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources (MENRO) of Matuguinao, Samar, under the inspiring vision of Hon. Aran Dela Cruz Boller, Municipal Mayor, this initiative was made possible through the strong collaboration of the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Catbalogan, the Office of the Vice President through its “Pagbabago: A Million Trees Campaign,” the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), together with the support of the Special Action Force (SAF) and the active participation of all Registered Youth Organizations and Youth-Serving Organizations. 💚

Beyond today’s activity, this initiative also underscores our continued commitment through the monitoring and nurturing of the trees planted during Linggo ng Kabataan 2025. Witnessing their steady growth reminds us that our efforts do not end with planting—it is through consistent care that these trees will thrive. Seeing them grow gives us hope that the next generation will continue to breathe under the shade of trees we have planted, carrying forward our shared responsibility to protect and preserve the environment. 🌿

This February 26, 2026 - Thursday - the MSWDO and LYDO invites you to join the PYAP Orientation and Reactivation📣📣📣

Usa ka ba sa OSY or Out of School Youth sa Matuguinao, edad 15-30? Tara na ngan api sa PYAP o an Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines dinhi sa aton bungto. Ayaw kabaraka kay usa la ini kaadlaw nga activity ngan sagot na nam anim snacks ngan paningudto.

Lanat na ngan magpalista! Pakadto la san SK san iyo barangay o daop kan Ms. Ronalyn Badlong sa iya office ug sa opisina san MSWD ni Mrs. Arlyn Alegria, para makiana ngan makaapi.

Pamati kun nano an PYAP kay bangin para ini sa imo nga organisasyon. Abre ini sa tanan na OSY o an diri na naskwela nga kabataan.

We are pleased to announce that EDUKAIN continues as a regular program of the Local Government Unit of Matuguinao, reinforcing our commitment to accessible, inclusive, and quality education for every Matuguinaon learner.

The program provides lugaw every Monday morning and free lunch to indigent learners who cannot go home for their meals. Through these initiative of Mayor Aran Boller, EDUKAIN aims to improve learners’ nutritional status, reduce absenteeism, enhance academic performance, and foster compassion, volunteerism, and solidarity within the school community.

Through sustained collaboration and shared responsibility, we continue to invest in the health, education, and future of our youth.
