𝗗𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗢 𝗗𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗢 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗕 𝗕𝗨𝗬-𝗕𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Police arrested a 37-year-old man during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Andili, Mawab, Davao de Oro, on Aug. 25. The operation was carried out by the Mawab Municipal Police Station in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region XI.

The suspect, known by the alias “Dong,” was arrested for alleged violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Police recovered suspected shabu and other evidence during the operation.

The operation was documented using an alternative recording device, while the seized items were marked, inventoried and documented in the presence of required witnesses. The suspect and the confiscated evidence were placed under police custody for proper disposition and the filing of appropriate charges.

Gihisgutan sa meeting ang mga updates, accomplishments, ug mga sunod nga plano sa anti-drug programs sa Municipality, lakip ang
Yakap Bayan Program, Drug-Free Workplace, School-Based Barkada Kontra Droga at Terorismo, ug uban pang programa sa MADAC.

Gipangulohan ang konseho ni Mayor Myrill Apit, MPA, Municipal Mayor ug MADAC Chairperson, uban sa pag-coordinate ni Jerico A. Acana, PS II/ MADAC Focal.

Pinaagi sa pag-uban, pagtinabangay, ug maayong coordination, padayon nga gipalig-on sa MADAC ang mga programa para sa prevention, recovery, ug pagtabang sa komunidad.

Nahuman na ang Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program and After Care (Yakap Bayan) cm Trainer’s Training for Anti-Drug Ambassadors nga gipahigayon sulod sa tulo ka adlaw, Hulyo 22–24, 2026, sa Heroben Hometel, Tagum City.

Ang maong aktibidad nagtumong sa pagpalig-on sa kahibalo ug kapasidad sa mga partner agencies ug stakeholders aron mas mapaLAMBO ang implementasyon sa Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) ug mapalig-on ang paghatag og aftercare ug suporta sa mga Persons Who Used Drugs (PWUDs) nga nagtinguha og bag-ong pagsugod.

Dako ang pasalamat kay Mayor Myrill Apit, 𝐌𝐏𝐀, tungod sa iyang padayon nga suporta ug pagpasiugda sa mga programa sa Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC). Giila usab ang dedikasyon ni 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐨 𝐀. 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐚, MADAC Focal, sa pagdumala ug pagkoordinar sa maong inisyatiba.

Ang training gipangunahan sa mga resource speakers gikan sa DSWD Regional Office XI ug sa Provincial Government of Davao de Oro, nga nagpaambit sa ilang kahibalo aron mas mapalig-on ang community-based rehabilitation ug anti-drug initiatives sa munisipyo.

Kabahin sa maong programa ang mga representante gikan sa Community Training and Employment Coordinators (CTEC), Mawab Philippine National Police (PNP), Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Municipal Civil Registrar (MCR), Municipal Health Office (MHO), Social Welfare and Development Auxiliaries (SWADAs), ug mga Pastors ubos sa Moral Recovery Program (MRP).

Ang kalampusan niini nga kalihokan nagpakita sa lig-on nga panaghiusa sa lokal nga panggamhanan ug sa nagkadaiyang sektor sa komunidad aron mapalig-on ang rehabilitasyon, paglikay sa ilegal nga droga, ug paghatag og ikaduhang higayon sa mga nanginahanglan.

Padayon ang MADAC Mawab sa pagpalig-on sa paningkamot alang sa usa ka luwas, malinawon, ug drug-free nga . 💪🏻💚

𝐌𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐁 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐂, 𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐊𝐔𝐇𝐀 𝐎𝐆 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐀 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐂 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐈𝐓

Gipamatud-an na usab sa lungsod sa Mawab ang lig-on nga baruganan niini batok sa illegal nga droga human nakuha ang hingpit nga 100% rating sa bag-o lang nahuman nga 2026 Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit karong adlawa, April 28, 2026.

Ang maong audit gipahigayon didto sa Kapalong Cooperative Building, Nabunturan, pinaagi sa Provincial Audit Committee (PAC) nga gipangunahan sa DILG Davao de Oro. Kini usa ka tinuig nga pagsusi sa paglihok ug pagka-epektibo sa mga lokal nga konseho sa pagpatuman sa mga programa batok sa droga.

Kini nga garbo ug dungog dili lamang usa ka numero, kondili resulta sa hugot nga paningkamot, panaghiusa, ug dedikasyon sa matag miyembro sa Mawab Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) sa panguna ni Mayor Myrill Apit, MPA. Ang maong perfect score nagpakita nga padayon ang lungsod sa Mawab sa pagduso og mga inobasyon ug serbisyo alang sa usa ka drug-free nga munisipyo.

Mapasalamaton kita sa kakugi sa atong MADAC Focal Hon. Bob Mirasol inubanan sa iyang mga staff, sa atong MLGOO Cherry H. Leybag, sa tanan miyembro sa council ug sa tanang barangay sa nga nakialayon para mamahimong mabungahon ni nga programa.
