PYAP Monthly Meeting | August 16, 2026

Another productive month for the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Medellin Chapter! 💙

Our monthly meeting was held on August 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM at MSWDO, where we discussed important upcoming youth activities, including Linggo ng Kabataan (LNK) 2026, the Medellin Youth Film Festival (MYFF) 2026, and the Cultural Dance Competition. 🎬💃🕺

We are also grateful that our PYAP Presidents were able to attend and actively participate in the LYDC Meeting, together with Hon. Venus Barro and Hon. Marl Wembert Cando, strengthening our commitment to meaningful youth participation and collaboration. 🤝✨

Together, let’s continue to empower the youth, celebrate our talents, and create meaningful opportunities for every young Medellinanon! 💙

Day 1 | PYAP Youth Day 2026

The celebration of the 52nd PYAP Founding Anniversary and PYAP Youth Day officially began on July 25, 2026, at the Medellin Sports Complex.

Day 1 was filled with meaningful learning and exciting activities as participants joined the HIV Awareness Seminar and showcased teamwork, sportsmanship, and Filipino values through Larong Pinoy. These activities not only promoted awareness and education but also strengthened friendship and unity among the youth.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of this memorable day. Together, let us continue to empower the youth and create positive change in our communities.

The PYAP Federation Monthly Meeting was successfully held on June 21, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the MSWDO office.

During the meeting, we proudly introduced our new Youth Focal Person, Mr. Rodel Duarte, who will dedicate his expertise and commitment to empowering the youth of our hometown.

The agenda included the planning and preparation for the upcoming PYAP 52nd Anniversary celebration, as well as the PYAP Federation presidential re-election.

A day filled with compassion, unity, and hope. The 𝑷𝒂𝒈 𝑨𝒔𝒂 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑷𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 (𝑷𝒀𝑨𝑷) 𝑭𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 successfully conducted its Feeding Program in Caputatan Norte last February 21, 2026. This meaningful initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of our youth to serve the community and extend kindness to those in need.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Officials of Caputatan Norte headed by 𝐇𝐨𝐧.
