As part of its unwavering commitment to advancing quality and inclusive education, the Barangay Officials of Barangay Antipolo, led by Punong Barangay Hon. Amadin B. Moralde together with Hon. Julius Kevin Yaun, Chairperson of the Committee on Education, formally turned over a printer to the Alternative Learning System (ALS), represented by Mr. Jephunneh Ybanez, ALS Teacher.

This initiative reflects the barangay's continued dedication to supporting ALS by providing essential resources that will enhance the delivery of learning services and contribute to a more effective teaching and learning environment. The donated printer will serve as a valuable tool in the preparation of instructional materials and other learning resources for ALS learners.

Barangay Antipolo remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering accessible, inclusive, and quality education through collaborative efforts and meaningful initiatives that empower every learner in the community.

Barangay Antipolo proudly recognizes the successful participation of Barangay Treasurer Mrs. Janet Dela Pisa and Barangay Secretary Mr. John Kester Yurag in the Two-Day Skills Enhancement Training for Barangay Secretaries and Barangay Treasurers: Strengthening Competence, Accountability, and Excellence in Barangay Governance, together with the Performance Evaluation and Review of Pertinent Documents to Sustain Drug-Cleared Barangays, held on July 16–17, 2026.

The training provided valuable updates on effective barangay administration, sound financial management, proper records keeping, and compliance with government policies, further strengthening their capacity to deliver transparent, efficient, and accountable public service.

Barangay Antipolo remains steadfast in promoting good governance by continuously enhancing the competence and professionalism of its public servants in service to the community.

2-Day Participatory Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (PRVA) Training

The KALAHI-CIDSS Program successfully conducted the 2-Day Participatory Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (PRVA) Training in Barangay Antipolo, held at the Barangay Hall, with the participation of the twenty (20) Purok Leaders and Barangay Officials.

The training served as a vital capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening the capability of local leaders in identifying community hazards, assessing risks and vulnerabilities, and formulating appropriate interventions to enhance disaster risk reduction, preparedness, and community resilience. The activity also underscored the significance of participatory governance and collaborative planning in fostering sustainable and resilient communities.

Official Turnover of Sound System to Antipolo Integrated School

The Barangay Government of Antipolo formally turned over a sound system to Antipolo Integrated School, reaffirming its steadfast commitment to supporting quality education and strengthening the school's instructional and co-curricular activities.

The turnover ceremony was led by Hon. Amadin B. Moralde, Punong Barangay, together with Hon. Julius Kevin Yaun, Chairperson of the Committee on Education. The donated sound system was formally received by Dr. Rex Cordero, School Principal of Antipolo Integrated School.

The Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Antipolo successfully conducted its Thirteenth (13th) Regular Session, presided over by Hon. Amadin B. Moralde, Punong Barangay and Presiding Officer.

Community Assembly on the Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP)

The KALAHI Program successfully conducted a Community Assembly on the Philippine Community Resilience Project (PCRP) in Barangay Antipolo, Municipality of Medellin, Cebu, with the participation of the Barangay Officials and residents.

The activity served as an avenue to present the objectives, implementation process, and community-driven approach of the PCRP, while emphasizing the vital role of stakeholders in identifying and prioritizing development interventions that will enhance the resilience and sustainable development of the community.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) – Medellin, under the supervision of Ms. Janieva Dandan, Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) conducted the review and updating of the Barangay Development Plan (BDP) for CY 2027–2030 of Barangay Antipolo.

The activity was undertaken to ensure that the Barangay Development Plan is aligned with the current development priorities, emerging concerns, and long-term goals of the community. Through a comprehensive assessment and collaborative planning process, the Barangay Officials actively participated in updating the plan to strengthen the barangay's strategic direction and guide the implementation of responsive and sustainable programs, projects, and activities for the 2027–2030 planning period.

Barangay Antipolo expresses its sincere appreciation to the DILG–Medellin, particularly to Ms. Janieva Dandan for her technical guidance and valuable assistance in ensuring that the Barangay Development Plan remains relevant, comprehensive, and consistent with the principles of good local governance.

Successful Distribution of Food Boxes under the DSWD Food-for-Work Program

Barangay Antipolo successfully conducted the distribution of food boxes to the Purok Officers from all 20 puroks as beneficiaries of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Food-for-Work Program.

The beneficiaries completed two (2) days of community service, which included coastal clean-up and declogging activities in various areas of the barangay, particularly in Sitio Lahug and Baybay. These activities demonstrate the commitment of our Purok Officers to environmental protection, disaster risk reduction, and the promotion of a cleaner and safer community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our Barangay Officials headed by Hon. Amadin Moralde, the representatives from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Region VII and our MSWDO Head, Mrs. Janice Sumalinog, for their invaluable support and partnership in the successful implementation of this program.

We also commend all the Purok Officers for their dedication and active participation in this meaningful initiative. Through collaboration and community service, we continue to strengthen our efforts toward a more resilient and sustainable Barangay Antipolo.

The Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS) Chief of Tanod and Head of the Barangay Health Workers (BHW), together with our Barangay Officials, successfully participated in the Orientation on the Basics of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) for Members of the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committees (BRRMCs) held today at San Remigio Beach Club.

The orientation provided valuable knowledge and insights on disaster preparedness, risk reduction, and effective community-based disaster management. This activity further strengthens the capacity of Barangay Antipolo in promoting safety, resilience, and readiness in times of emergencies and disasters.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), Ms. Gemma Maria Villamor – MDRRMO, and Ms. Janieva Dandan – MLGOO, for their invaluable support, guidance, and efforts in organizing and facilitating this meaningful orientation.
