Sa aming Filipiniana at Barong Tagalog, ipinapakita namin ang pagmamalaki sa ating tradisyon, kasaysayan, at pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

Higit pa sa kasuotan, ito ay simbolo ng paggalang sa kultura, pagkakaisa, at pagmamahal sa bayan—mga pagpapahalagang patuloy nating isinasabuhay sa paglilingkod sa mga pamilyang Pilipino.

📍 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) – New Beneficiary Orientation and Oath-taking

Today marks a meaningful milestone as the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) – Municipal Operations Office of Medellin successfully conducted the New Beneficiary Orientation and Panunumpa for our newly registered Pantawid beneficiaries.

The activity provided essential information on the goals of the Pantawid Program, the rights, responsibilities, and compliance requirements of every beneficiary. It also served as an opportunity for the new members to formally take their oath, signifying their commitment to uphold the values and responsibilities of being part of the program.

Through this orientation, beneficiaries are empowered with the knowledge needed to actively participate in the program and become partners in achieving a better future for their families, especially in promoting the health, education, and overall well-being of their children.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all partner agencies, local government officials, barangay officials, and everyone who contributed to the successful conduct of this activity.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to our Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) Head, Ma’am Janice B. Sumalinog, for her steadfast guidance and unwavering support to the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. Likewise, our heartfelt gratitude to the Municipality of Medellin, headed by Hon. Edwin L. 🏅 Municipality of Medellin Recognized by DSWD Field Office VII

The Municipality of Medellin has been recognized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VII as one of the Top 10 Earliest Fund Utilization Report (FUR) or Liquidation Report Submissions in Cebu Province for the Social Pension Program for Indigent Senior Citizens.

The Municipality ranked 3rd in both the 1st Quarter and 2nd Quarter of 2026, reflecting its commitment to transparency, accountability, and the timely submission of required reports.

This recognition is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the Municipality, especially our MSWDO and Treasury Office, in ensuring proper and timely documentation in support of programs that benefit our senior citizens.

Congratulations to the MSWDO and Treasury team on this achievement!

📍 3-Day Validation Successfully Completed for the UPLIFT Assistance – Category 2

Today marks the successful completion of the 3-day validation activity for the UPLIFT Assistance – Category 2, covering potential beneficiaries identified through the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS).

The validation activity was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of the Municipality of Medellin, headed by Ma’am Janice B. Sumalinog, together with the dedicated Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Staff and Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Staff, who worked hand in hand to ensure a smooth, fair, and efficient validation process.

This initiative aims to validate and assess the eligibility of identified households to ensure that social assistance reaches those who are most in need. Through this collaborative effort, the Municipality of Medellin continues to strengthen its commitment to delivering responsive, inclusive, and people-centered social services.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all partner agencies, field personnel, barangay officials, and participating households for their cooperation and support throughout the three-day activity. Together, we remain committed to uplifting the lives of vulnerable individuals and families and building a more resilient and empowered community.

Pantawid Medellin Beneficiary

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is now accepting applications for the Expanded Access to Scholarships and Education Support (EASE) Program for Academic Year 2026–2027.

This scholarship opportunity is open to qualified incoming first-year college students who belong to recognized Special Equity Groups (SEGs), including Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries and other eligible sectors.

📅 Application Period: June 24 – July 31, 2026

✅ Basic Qualifications

• Filipino Citizen
• Incoming First-Year College Student (AY 2026–2027)
• Senior High School Graduate with a minimum General Average of 85%
• Meets the income requirement
• Admitted or enrolled in a CHED-recognized undergraduate program
• Belongs to a recognized Special Equity Group (SEG)

Mas sayon, mas paspas, mas HAPSAY!

Dako ang kalipay sa mga Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries nga na-apil sa UPLIFT (Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport) Assistance ug nakadawat og one-time financial assistance nga ₱2,000.

Mas sayon na karon ang pagdawat sa maong ayuda tungod kay diretso na kini masulod sa ilang 4Ps Cash Card, busa dili na kinahanglan nga maglinya og dugay aron makuha ang ilang benepisyo. Kini usa ka dakong kahupayan ug mas hapsay nga paagi sa paghatod sa serbisyo ngadto sa mga benepisyaryo.

Hinaut nga magamit kini sa maayong paagi alang sa panginahanglan sa matag pamilya ug magpadayon ang paglaum alang sa mas maayong kaugmaon.

📢 SWDI Tool Enhanced Training | Borbon Gymnasium, Cebu

The Municipal Links (MLs) from Medellin, together with the municipalities under Cluster 5, successfully participated in the SWDI Tool Enhanced Training held at Borbon Gymnasium, Cebu. A total of 16 Municipal Links from Medellin joined the activity to strengthen their knowledge and skills in the enhanced way of administering the Social Welfare and Development Indicator (SWDI).

This training ensures that our Municipal Links are fully equipped and prepared to deliver a more efficient, accurate, and quality SWDI assessment for every Pantawid household.

Pag-ready namo, Pantawid beneficiaries, kay ang inyong mga Municipal Links nag-andam na pud! Together, let’s ensure that every assessment is accurate, complete, and meaningful.
