Collection of Blood sample in Swine (20 heads)🐖, Large Ruminants (10 heads),🐄 and Small Ruminants (10heads)🐐 for Detection of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) for Serological examination of susceptible animals.

Headed by Our Municipal Agriculturist Mr. Frederick M. Docdoc with Collaboration of Provincial Veterinary office Headed by Dr. Benjamin S. Resma, DVM.

|The purpose of this Activity is to sustain and safeguard the FMD-free status in Region 10.

JULY 21, 2025 | TURN-OVER CEREMONY OF FISH AGGREGATING DEVICE / PAYAW AND FISHING GEARS

A successful turn-over ceremony of three (3) units Fish Aggregating Device/Payaw and Fishing Gears of the Local Government Unit of Medina thru the Municipal Agriculture Office in collaboration with Bureau of Fisheries and Aqautic Resources - Regional Office 10.

The activity was attended by our very own Local Chief Executive, Hon. Mayor Marriane L. Chan, together with the 26th Sangguniang Bayan headed by Hon. Vice Mayor Paulo B. Magallanes and Hon. Arnold J. Amper, Committee on Agriculture, Ms. Arlen B. Novo of BFAR - Provincial Fisheries Office, Misamis Oriental, Mr. Vianney Anthony A. Gapuz, Chief - Fisheries Management Regulatory & Enforcement Division and Mr. Narciso D. Minguito Jr., Senior Fishery Regulatory Officer; representatives of Regional Director Edward B
Yasay of BFAR - Region 10 and Mr. Frederick M. Docdoc, our Municipal Agriculturist - Designate respectively.

There were 67 sets of Multiple Handline, 23 sets of Bottom-set Gill Net and 3 units of Payaw given to almost 100 fisherfolk-benificiaries of the Local Government Unit of Medina.
