September 11, 2026 - The City of Dasmariñas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CDCCI) conducted its first Business Expo 2026 at the Dasmariñas Arena, bringing together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and exhibitors to foster business development, opportunities, and networking.

As part of the event, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Cavite, led by OIC-Division Chief Julita C. Salvacion, together with NC Trade and Industry Development Analyst Eliezer Ganados, presented DTI’s programs and services for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The presentation provided participants with information on the various government assistance and support programs available to help entrepreneurs improve their businesses, access opportunities, and sustain their growth. A question and answer session also followed, allowing participants to raise their concerns and seek clarification on DTI programs, services, and available assistance for MSMEs.

DTI Cavite attended the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Cavite 2nd Quarter General Membership Meeting held on August 13, 2026, at the Locator’s Hall, First Cavite Industrial Estate, Dasmariñas City.

DTI Cavite Provincial Director Lilibeth R. Chavez served as the Inspirational Message Speaker during the gathering. In her message, PD Chavez highlighted the vital role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in creating jobs, providing income, promoting innovation, and contributing to the growth of local economies.

Anchored on the theme “MSMEs Rising: Strengthening Today, Building Capability, Expanding Tomorrow,” PD Chavez emphasized the need for MSMEs to continuously build their capabilities, embrace digitalization and innovation, strengthen market access, and promote sustainability and resilience.

PD Chavez reaffirmed DTI Cavite’s commitment to working with PCCI and other stakeholders in fostering a business environment where MSMEs can grow, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗭𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗖𝗔𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗘

Pursuant to Sangguniang Panlalawigan Resolution No. 5059-2026, declaring the Province of Cavite under a State of Calamity due to the widespread adverse effects of the Southwest Monsoon enhanced by Tropical Cyclones “Luis” and “Maymay”, effective 11 August 2026, the Department of Trade and Industry Cavite (DTI-Cavite) informs all consumers and retailers that based on Section 6 of RA 7581 or the Price Act, prices of basic necessities in an area declared under state of calamity shall automatically be frozen at their prevailing prices or placed under automatic price control. Section 6 also stipulates that unless sooner lifted by the president, automatic price control on basic necessities shall remain effective for the duration of the condition that brought it about, but not more than 60 days.

In this regard, please be guided accordingly of the updated prevailing prices in supermarkets and grocery stores in the province.

August 11, 2026 | The City Tourism Office of Dasmariñas and the City of Dasmariñas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CDCCI) meet with DTI Cavite to explore possible collaboration for the upcoming First City of Dasmarinas Chamber of Commerce Business Expo 2026.

The City Tourism Office, led by City Tourism Officer Jimmy C. Martinez, together with CDCCI President Mr. George Albes, paid a courtesy visit to DTI Cavite Provincial Director Lilibeth R. Chavez to present the objectives and plans for the Business Expo, which aims to showcase the city’s thriving business community, promote local enterprises, strengthen public-private partnerships, and encourage economic growth and investment opportunities.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss possible areas of collaboration and support from DTI-Cavite, particularly in promoting and empowering local businesses and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
