Ang Barangay Council sang Barangay San Rafael, nga ginapangunahan ni Punong Barangay Diofe Fatlaonag Kap Diofe, upod ang mga Barangay Tanod, Barangay Health Worker, Barangay Nutrition Scholar, Barangay Service Point Officer, Child Development Worker, kag SK member, nag-upod sa Initial Assessment para sa RGLGB 2026 (CY 2025) sang Enero 15, 2026, sa Miagao Municipal Hall.

In response to the forecasted adverse weather conditions brought about by Tropical Depression Basyang on February 6-7, 2026, the local government has announced adjustments to the schedule of Salakayan Festival activities as follows:

- Coronation of the Queen of Miagao 2026: rescheduled to February 7, 2026 (Saturday) at 7:00 PM

- Mass, Boat Blessing, and Fluvial Parade: moved to February 8, 2026 (Sunday), at 6:00 AM

- Tribal Dance Drama Competition: set for February 8, 2026 (Sunday) at 1:00 PM

- Tribes’ Night and Salakayan Re-enactment: postponed to February 8, 2026, (Sunday) at 6:00 PM

These changes aim to ensure the safety of participants and attendees while preserving the festive spirit of the event.
