The University Library expressed its sincere appreciation to Mr. Earl Kessler for his generous donation of various books, papers, and other learning materials relevant to urban planning. The delivery took place on April 13, 2026, at the CM Library, U.P. Visayas, Iloilo City Campus. The delivery was facilitated through LBC and was acknowledged in the presence of Ms. Analiza S. Galang-Linaugo, University Librarian; Ms. Milyn C. Leghid, College Business Manager, OVCPD; and Ms. Sophia B. Diasanta, Officer-in-Charge, Iloilo City Libraries.
Mr. Earl Kessler is a semi-retired shelter and urban development professional and expert, residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. He donated a total of 427 books and other learning materials.
The donation was facilitated by Dr. Juhn Chris P. Espia, Associate Professor (CAS), who is connected to the donor and coordinated with Dr. Rhodella A. Ibabao, Vice Chancellor for Planning and Development; and Ms. Leghid.
With this new set of books, papers, and other learning materials, the University Library has expanded its collection, offering valuable additional resources for students, faculty, researchers, and other clients.
