🏀 BASKETBALL LEAGUE ANNOUNCEMENT 🏀

‼️Open only to residents of Brgy Mat-y who have lived here for at least 6 months

📅 April 23, 2026 – Start of submission of line-ups (categories: 18 under and 18 up)
📅 April 25 – DEADLINE of submission
🚫 STRICTLY NO SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER APRIL 25 – no forms or line-ups will be received beyond this date, so please make sure to submit on time!

👥 Maximum of 15 members per team: If there is a playing coach, they are counted as part of this number. However, if you only have 15 players, you may still have a separate coach in addition to them.

📌 Tentative start of Basketball: May 10, 2026
✅ Player verification will be handled by the Barangay Kagawad
📋 Ground rules will be presented during the final meeting / to be announced. We will also post updates in our page or group chat.

THE ODL FOR A CAUSE!

The Brgy. Mat-y Miagao,Iloilo in collaboration with Miagao Youth Volleyball Organization presents One-Day League took place on December 01, 2024, at the Brgy mat-y multi-purpose evacuation center, featuring 10 teams per Category.

-100 per head

The event highlighted the ODL for a cause! Also teamwork and sportsmanship, providing an exciting atmosphere as players showcased their skills.

ALL PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE PORTIN FAMILY. (our friend's father died).

CLASSES SUSPENDED: Mayor Richard Garin announces the extension of the suspension of classes from pre-school to senior high school in both public and private schools within our jurisdiction.

The suspension will take effect tomorrow, September 17, 2024.

Meanwhile, the suspension of classes at the college level is subject to the discretion of the school administration.

CLASSES SUSPENDED: Mayor Richard Garin announces the suspension of classes at all levels (pre-school to college) tomorrow, September 16, 2024, due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) with the forecast of light to moderate, and at times, heavy rains which will continue to affect portions of the island of Panay.

ATTENTION!!!
Please be informed that the office of COMELEC Miagao is open on holidays which is on August 23, 24 and 26 (Friday, Saturday and Monday).

Applicants for registration must be 18 YEARS OLD on or before May 12, 2025. For identification purposes,applicants must bring ANY VALID ID.

Registered SK Voters last October 2023 during the Barangay and SK Election are NOT REQUIRED to register again.
