As we welcome the New Year with joy and celebration, let us also prioritize the safety of everyone on the road. A responsible celebration helps prevent accidents and saves lives.
📌 PAALALA SA KALIGTASAN / SAFETY REMINDERS:
🚫🍺 Do not drink and drive.
Huwag uminom at magmaneho.
🚗💨 Avoid overspeeding and reckless driving; expect heavy traffic and many pedestrians.
Iwasan ang sobrang bilis at pabayang pagmamaneho; asahan ang mabigat na trapiko at maraming naglalakad.
🚫🛣️ Do not stop in the middle of the road to watch fireworks or take selfies.
Huwag huminto sa gitna ng kalsada upang manood ng fireworks o mag-selfie.
🚫 Avoid street dancing or celebrating on roads and intersections.
Iwasang sumayaw o magdiwang sa mga kalsada at intersection.
🎇🚷 Fireworks are not for roads; use only safe and designated areas.
Hindi para sa kalsada ang mga paputok; gamitin lamang ang mga ligtas at itinalagang lugar.
🏍️🪖 Motorcyclists and passengers must wear helmets at all times.
Dapat laging magsuot ng helmet ang mga nagmamaneho at pasahero ng motorsiklo.
😴🚗 Avoid driving if you are tired, dizzy, or distracted.
Iwasang magmaneho kung ikaw ay pagod, nahihilo, o hindi nakatuon ang pansin.
💡🚘 Keep headlights and signal lights on; use hazard lights only during emergencies.
Panatilihing bukas ang headlights at signal lights; gamitin lamang ang hazard lights sa oras ng emergency.
🚶♂️🚸 Drivers must watch out for pedestrians, especially children and the elderly.
Maging mapagmatyag ang mga driver sa mga naglalakad, lalo na sa mga bata at matatanda.
🚶♀️🛤️ Pedestrians must use sidewalks, footbridges, and pedestrian crossings.
Dapat gumamit ng sidewalk, footbridge, at pedestrian lane ang mga naglalakad.
🚌🚫👥 Motorcycle, jeepney, bus, and tricycle drivers must not overload passengers.
Hindi dapat mag-overload ng pasahero ang mga driver ng motorsiklo, jeepney, bus, at tricycle.
👮♂️🛑 Follow traffic enforcers, barangay officials/tanod, and road safety signages.
Sumunod sa mga traffic enforcer, mga opisyal at tanod ng barangay, at sa mga palatandaan ng kaligtasan sa kalsada.
🤝 Sama-sama nating tiyakin ang isang ligtas, maayos, at masayang pagdiriwang ng Bagong Taon.
