Please be guided accordingly by the Midsayap Municipal Library and Information Center on the implementation of the Four-Day Work Week Arrangement, pursuant to the applicable Memorandum Circular and LGU Midsayap Memorandum Order.

📚 New Office Schedule:
🗓️ Monday–Thursday
⏰ 7:30 A.M. – 6:30 P.M.

🚫 CLOSED: Friday–Sunday

We encourage all library users and clients to plan their visits accordingly. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we continue to provide accessible and responsive library services to the community.

Today, we brought the library closer to more young minds!📚✨

The Midsayap Municipal Library and Information Center conducted “Aklatan Para sa Kabataan: Empowering Young Researchers Through Digital Knowledge” at Kimagango High School.

Through this activity, Senior High School students were introduced to the services and resources available at the Midsayap Municipal Library and Information Center, including the National Library of the Philippines eResources Portal, where they can access trusted digital materials to support their research and academic needs. 📖💻

More than a library orientation, the activity served as an opportunity to let our young learners know that valuable information and helpful resources are within their reach—and best of all, they can access these services for FREE!😍📚

Every school visit reminds us of the importance of reaching out and connecting more students to the resources available for them. There are still many young minds waiting to explore, discover, and make the most of what their public library has to offer. 💚

To the young researchers of Kimagango High School, may this be the start of a meaningful journey of curiosity, discovery, and lifelong learning. ✨

📚 LOOK | Aklatan Para sa Kabataan Reaches Villarica High School!

Today, the Midsayap Municipal Library and Information Center brought “Aklatan Para sa Kabataan: Empowering Young Researchers Through Digital Knowledge” to Villarica High School, with 80 selected Senior High School students joining our library orientation.

What made the session even more meaningful was discovering that some of our students were only learning today that the Municipal Library exists—and that these services are available to them for FREE! 😍📖

The students were especially grateful to know that the National Government through National Library of the Philippines and Local Government of Midsayap through Midsayap Municipal Library continue to provide opportunities, resources (NLP eResources Portal), and services that young people can access without spending a peso.

And yes, we came with information, but we also went home with something priceless: the realization that there are still many young people waiting to discover what their public library can offer. 💚

A little librarian wit:
“Today, we didn't just orient students about the library—we may have gained 80 future library users. Mission: unlocked! 🔓📚”

To our young researchers: The library is here. The resources are here. And yes—it's FREE. All you need to bring is your curiosity. 😉

Yesterday, the Midsayap Municipal Library and Information Center successfully distributed book allocations from the National Library of the Philippines to our seven (7) Barangay Reading Centers, strengthening our commitment to making quality reading resources more accessible to every community.

These books are more than just pages on a shelf, they are doors to knowledge, imagination, and lifelong learning. Together, we continue to bring the library closer to the people, one barangay at a time.

📖 "A book on a shelf changes nothing—but a book in a reader's hands can change everything."

A little library wit? 😉 The only "traffic" we love is when books keep moving from shelves to readers! 🚚📚

BOOK MOBILE LIBRARY SERVICES PROGRAM | Miguel Intes Elementary School

The Municipal Library of Midsayap proudly joined the Provincial Library of North Cotabato in the conduct of the Book Mobile Library Services Program at Miguel Intes Elementary School.

This meaningful initiative, spearheaded by the Provincial Library under the leadership of Governor Emmylou "Lala" Taliño Mendoza, in collaboration with the Local Government Unit of Midsayap headed by Mayor Rolly "Ur Da Man" Sacdalan, aims to bring library resources and literacy programs closer to learners in the community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the administration of Miguel Intes Elementary School, led by School Head Mrs. Marites R. Clariño, for the warm welcome and invaluable support in making the activity a success.

Through coloring activities, engaging reading sessions, puzzle-solving, and access to a variety of books, the program continues to inspire young learners to discover the joy of reading and embrace the value of lifelong learning.

Committed to promoting literacy and fostering a culture of reading, the Municipal Library will continue bringing library services beyond its walls and closer to every learner.

The Midsayap Municipal Library and Information Center successfully hosted the Two-Day Online Monitoring and Evaluation of the 33 Affiliated Barangay Reading Centers (BRCs) of the Municipality of Midsayap on June 2–3, 2026. The activity was conducted by the National Library of the Philippines with Ms. Amy Felice P. Bucago, Librarian I, as the resource speaker, aiming to assess, monitor, and strengthen the operations and services of the affiliated Barangay Reading Centers in the municipality.

The activity was held at the Midsayap Municipal Library and Information Center under the leadership of Ms. Gina May T. Daul, RL, MLIS, Librarian I, with the assistance of her staff, Ms. Alvy Jean B. Recian, LPT, and Mr. Joniel C. Cayang, RL. This initiative was made possible through the support of Municipal Mayor Rolando C. Sacdalan, CPA and Vice Mayor Manuel M. Rabara, DMD. Through collaborative efforts and continuous monitoring, the Municipal Library remains committed to promoting accessible, responsive, and quality library services for every barangay in Midsayap.
