Residential consumers of Visayan Electric will experience an increase of P3.56 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), raising the total rate to P13.27/kWh for the July to August billing period. Customers consuming at least 200 kWh per month will see an additional charge of P712 on their next bill. This rate hike is primarily due to high electricity prices in the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) and the implementation of the second installment of staggered WESM payables from May.

The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) had previously issued Order 2024-01MC, allowing a four-month staggered payment for power purchases, which resulted in an artificially low rate during the June-July cycle. For that period, only the first installment of the May payables was collected, leading to a lower rate of P12.37/kWh. However, with the second installment, approximately P0.90 added to the rate, the average residential charge has now risen to P13.27/kWh.

Tungod sa unom na kaadlaw nga walay agas sa tubig, ang atong kapitan nga si kap Boboi Geonzon nangita nag paagi para maka pundog ginagmay nga tubig ang purok 7-9.Sa pagka karun 3 lang usa ka purok ang ma rasyonan ug tubig kay naka sinati na ug pag agas sa purok 1-6.

Magsugod sa Ricks Ville (7) padung purok 9.Among gihangyo nga mag atang kamo daan ug mga balde ug container sa daplin sa kadalanan. Amo usab gihangyo nga balde lang ug 2 ka container para maapud-apud sa tanan.
