As I close this month, I choose to look back with a grateful heartโ€”for every blessing, every lesson, every answered prayer, and even the challenges that made me stronger.
Thank You, Lord, for carrying me through it all. For the moments I understood and those I didnโ€™t. For the people You placed in my life- good or bad, and for the grace that never ran out.

LEADERSHIP BEYOND THE DESK ๐Ÿ“‘โœ๏ธ

As a Barangay Captain, I believe that leadership is not only about making decisionsโ€”it is also about understanding the work behind every document, report, and transaction of our barangay.

That is why I make it a point to personally review our documents and, whenever necessary, personally prepare some of our reports. It may take extra time and effort, but it allows me to better understand our accomplishments, financial and administrative records, programs, and the actual needs of our community.

Being hands-on with documentation has many advantages: it helps ensure accuracy, transparency, accountability, proper compliance, and timely submission of reports. More importantly, it strengthens my responsibility as a public servant and helps ensure that every document reflects the work and services being delivered to our constituents.

For me, public service is not about simply signing papers. It is about knowing what you are signing, understanding the work behind it, and taking responsibility for every action of the barangay.

Usa na usab ka makahuluganon nga panagtigom sa atong mga minahal nga senior citizens aron maghisgot sa mga importanteng impormasyon, programa, serbisyo, ug mga kalihokan alang sa ilang kaayohan.

Dili lang kini ordinaryong meetingโ€”usa kini ka higayon sa pagpaminaw, pagpakabana, pagtinabangay, ug pagpalig-on sa panag-uban sa atong mga senior citizens. ๐Ÿค

Ang ilang mga kasinatian, tambag, ug kaalam usa ka bililhong bahandi sa atong komunidad. Padayon kita sa paghatag og respeto, pag-atiman, ug suporta ngadto sa atong mga katigulangan. โค๏ธ

Kay ang pag-atiman sa atong mga senior citizens, usa usab ka pagpasalamat sa ilang dakong kontribusyon sa atong pamilya ug komunidad.

Padayon ang atong Road Clearing Operation kuyog ang Minglanilla Traffic Commission kon MITCOM isip kabahin sa paningkamot sa Barangay nga mapadayon ang kalimpyo, kahapsay, ug kaluwasan sa atong mga dalan ug pampublikong lugar.

Importante ang road clearing aron masiguro nga hapsay ug luwas ang pag-agi sa mga sakyanan, motorsiklo, bisikleta, ug mga pedestrian, labi na sa panahon sa emerhensya diin gikinahanglan ang dali ug walay babag nga agianan sa mga ambulansya, bombero, ug uban pang emergency responders.

Apan ang kalampusan niini nga programa dili lamang responsibilidad sa Barangay. Gikinahanglan ang kooperasyon sa matag residente pinaagi sa:

โœ… Dili pagbutang og mga butang, materyales, basura, o istruktura nga makababag sa dalan;

โœ… Pagsunod sa mga balaod ug ordinansa bahin sa paggamit sa public roads ug road right-of-way;

โœ… Pagpabiling limpyo ug hapsay ang atong palibot; ug

โœ… Aktibong pag-apil ug pagtinabangay sa mga programa sa Barangay.

Ang limpyo ug luwas nga dalan, responsibilidad natong tanan. ๐Ÿค

Kung magtinabangay ang Barangay ug komunidad, mas dali natong mapadayon ang usa ka palibot nga hapsay, luwas, ug komportable alang sa tanan.

Pag-atiman sa Panglawas, Alang sa Atong mga Kababayen-an! ๐Ÿ’—

Gipahigayon sa Barangay Ward II ang Pap Smear Screening alang sa mga kababayen-an isip kabahin sa padayon nga programa sa barangay sa pagpalambo ug pag-atiman sa panglawas sa mga kababayen-an. ๐Ÿฉบ๐ŸŒธ

Ang regular nga Pap Smear usa ka importante nga lakang aron sayong madiskubre ang mga abnormal nga kausaban sa cervix nga mahimong mosangpot sa cervical cancer. Pinaagi niining serbisyo, atong giduol ngadto sa atong mga kababayen-an ang importante nga health screening ug serbisyo medikal.

Dako among pasalamat sa atong mga Barangay Health Workers, health personnel, Nursing students thru the Community Health Nursing Program of St. Cecilia's College - Cebu, Inc. nga mitabang aron malampuson ang maong kalihokan.

Labaw sa tanan, among gidayeg ang tanang kababayen-an nga naghatag og panahon ug nagpakabana sa ilang kaugalingong panglawas. ๐Ÿ’•

Atimana ang kaugalingon. Magpa-screen. Magpakonsulta.
