OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON THE ACUTE GASTROENTERITIS CASES OF PUROK AWARDING PARTICIPANTS

We received reports of cases of acute gastroenteritis from among those who attended last Saturday's Purok Awarding ceremony.

We immediately created a committee from the Office of the Mayor, Rural Health Unit, and other departments to investigate.

Due to urgency, status meeting was held and as of yesterday, December 16, most of the patients already recovered. The rest are being closely monitored and given supportive care.

We are also constantly communicating with the food supplier about the matter for the reason that food borne may be the proximate cause of this incident wherein the supplier was sternly warned in the strongest terms that this matter will be dealt with very seriously.

Rest assured that the Minglanilla Municipal Government has made a swift action on the issue, taking into account the best interest of the affected constituents.

This award is a testimony of our consistent hard work coupled by our dedicated service in providing a safe and clean roads for all. True to our mantra that is " ang karsada nga lapad, hapsay ug limpyo mamahimong atong garbo".

Isip inyong kapitan, kuyog ang konseho sa atong Barangay, mopadayon kami sa pagpangita ug mga "innovative ways" sa pagpatuman sa atong mga planu alang sa Kaayohan ug Kalamboan.
