Basdiot Elementary School formerly Basdiot Primary School was officially established in the year 1932 when the school site where it is now situated was acquired by the Municipality of Moalboal by the virtue of Deed of t Donation exec

uted by spouses Pastor Pableo and Melecia Jakosalem Pableo ,spouses Saturnino Yosores and Francisca Altamarino, Candido Abrenica and spouse and a certain Tayo ,single in favor of the municipality September 12,1932. From that year the school continued to grow and become a complete elementary school in the year 1965 with the late Mr.Teofilo Conocono as the first school head teacher. Through its years of existence, Basdiot Elementary School has tried and developed different approaches to ensure that the children receive the best educational benefits the school can give. The teaching staff focused gradually direct teaching assistance and individual guidance towards child focused development programs and working not only with children but also to the community and stake holders .Basdiot Elementary School recognized that the welfare of the pupils depend upon the commitment and attitude of the teachers, perseverance, and industry in hitting the target of acquiring quality education and that it is important also to build harmonious relationship with the barangay officials and the community to gain support in every undertakings that the school will initiate for the good of the children.

🌍❤️ Basdiot ES Donation Drive: Standing with Northern Cebu Earthquake Victims ❤️🌍

Today, our hearts overflow with gratitude as we witness the incredible generosity of our community! Together with SELG Officers, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts, Parents, Basdiot ES Teachers we’re rallying support for families affected by the recent earthquake in Northern Cebu.

A special THANK YOU to our amazing donors:

- Mrs. Jane Pico (Grade 4 Parent) for your immense contribution of ₱20,000 worth of aid: 2 sacks of 50kg Ivory rice + assorted goods.
- Mrs. Resty Banilad for your kindness: 2 boxes of assorted goods + 6 sacks of 5kg rice.
- Anonymous Donors: ₱1,500 worth of Milo + Parents’ collective donation of ₱550 worth of Milo.

Every sack of rice, every box of supplies, and every act of love brings hope to those rebuilding their lives. 🤝💛
