𝗠𝗦𝗪𝗗𝗢 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘀

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), led by head Cristy Villaceran, continues to conduct regular curfew patrols in coordination with the Moalboal Police Station and barangay tanods to ensure that minors are not loitering in public areas beyond the prescribed 10 p.m. curfew. The joint patrols are part of the municipality’s continuing efforts to protect children and promote peace and order in the community.

During the patrols, MSWDO personnel, police officers and barangay tanods monitor public places and remind minors found outside during curfew hours to return home. The team also works to identify situations that may put children at risk and coordinate with their parents or guardians when necessary.

The MSWDO is urging parents and guardians to take an active role in ensuring that their children are home before curfew. Villaceran stressed that parental supervision and cooperation are essential in keeping minors safe from possible harm, while also helping maintain a safer and more orderly community.

𝗠𝗼𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗹'𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The town’s top student-athletes will go head-to-head in the Municipal Meet 2026, as they vie for the chance to represent Moalboal in the Provincial Meet later this year.

The competition brings together the best young athletes from the town’s schools, with participants looking to showcase their skills, determination and sportsmanship across various events.

DepEd Public Schools Supervisor Louie Monteroso expressed his appreciation to the local government unit, led by Mayor Inocentes G. Cabaron, for its continued support of DepEd programs and activities. He particularly cited the LGU’s increased allocation for the town’s participation in the annual DepEd sports competitions.

Monteroso also reminded the athletes to prioritize their health and well-being throughout the competition, emphasizing the importance of staying fit and taking care of their bodies as they pursue their athletic goals.

Cabaron, meanwhile, thanked Moalboal’s athletes for bringing pride to the municipality through their performances in the Provincial Meet. Moalboal finished eighth overall last year, highlighted by strong performances across several sporting events.

The mayor encouraged this year’s participants to give their best, carry the name of Moalboal with pride and uphold the values of discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship as they compete for a place in the provincial delegation.
