Sangguniang Kabataan Barangay Bugho's SK Chairperson, Hon. Daisymae A. Layese (SK Moalboal Federations P.I.O), SK Councilor, Hon. Gerly G. Cababat (as representative of the Moalboal Youth Council); and Hon. Sheena Mae Gador (SK Moalboal Federation Secretary) joined the ABTIK Conversations: Youth Fair flagship programs of Gov. Pamela Baricuatro uniting youths of the Province of Cebu together.

The activity was entitled ABTIK (Active, Brilliant, Thriving and Informed Kabatan-onan) nga Cebuano held at Cebu Provincial Capitol on August 24, 2025. The event was filled with engaging and useful discussions that youths must know in order to thrive in these challenging times for the youths.

Topics discussed were:
โ€ข Colors of Confidence: A Color Analysis Talk to build a confident and empowered youth leaders in Cebu.
โ€ข NegosYouth: Embracing the entrepreneurial minds of Cebuano Youths where Ideas can be molded into income.
โ€ข Youth for A Greener Cebu: Where small steps in environmental conservation and protection brings huge impacts in saving our nature. "The devil is in the details."
โ€ข Responsible Use of Social Media and AI: A talk that enlightened youths where to and not to expose their privacy. Know your safe space.
โ€ข Himsug: Healthy Minds and Strong Bodies: A talk about mental health awareness and how to prevent the prevalent cases of suicides and suicidal attempts among youths.

After the different talks and gaining fruitful information from various topics, Hon. Glenn Soco, Vice Governor of Cebu Province then delivered his inspirational message followed by Hon. Pamela Baricuatro, Governor of Cebu Province, who encouraged the youths to stay active and promote youth engaging activities to help Cebuano youths thrive and unite.

The event ended up with an exciting raffle draw with cash prizes and useful things, followed by a melody of music.

It was an honor to be part of the event having 2 officials from SK Barangay Bugho to participate and witness the flourishing Provincial Youth Council in Cebu.

This is just the beginning, here's to more youth engaging activities in the Province of Cebu!

We invite all SK Councils and Local Youth Development Organizations to join MUGNA: Trashnovation, an environmental-themed competition that celebrates creativity, sustainability, and youth ingenuity.

Each team must be composed of five (5) participants who will work together to create innovative outputs using recyclable and eco-friendly materials.
