When the heat index rises and face-to-face classes must be suspended, the pursuit of learning never stops. Today, New Kapatagan Elementary School successfully implemented the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) proving once again that no challenge, not even extreme weather, can ever halt our commitment to quality education.

Learning Continues, not because it is easy, but because it matters.
High heat may keep us physically apart, but it cannot dim our dedication to teaching and learning. ADM bridges the gap between the classroom and home, reminding us that education is not confined within four walls, it lives in every lesson, every activity, and every effort shared by teachers, learners, and parents.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated teachers for preparing meaningful learning materials and activities, and to our learners and parents for their cooperation and commitment. Please be informed that New Kapatagan Elementary School will continue implementing the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) / Asynchronous Classes on Thursday, August 20, 2026, due to the persistently High Heat Index experienced here in Monkayo.

Face-to-face classes remain suspended, but learning continues through self-guided activities, learning packets, and assignments provided by your respective advisers. Our priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of every learner and educator.

We are proud to share that our school has officially received 14 units of Coby CLIPGO Mini Portable Voice Amplifiers, wonderful additions that will truly elevate the quality of teaching and learning inside our classrooms!

These devices will serve as essential teaching aids to help our teachers deliver lessons more effectively. Acting as lightweight lapel amplifiers, they make instructions, discussions, and explanations clearly heard by every learner, ensuring that no voice strains and no student misses a word. Alang sa Agosto 19, 2026, ang Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) magpabilin nga ipatuman alang sa mga estudyante sa tanang lebel sa pampubliko ug pribadong mga tulunghaan sa Monkayo. Samtang ang mga magtutudlo ug non-teaching personnel mag-report sa ilang tagsa-tagsa ka mga tulunghaan alang sa ilang mga katungdanan.

Kini nga desisyon gihimo human sa konsultasyon sa Office of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (OMDRRMO), PSDS Dr. Shirley Sugano, ug DCP Ma’am Myralona Balawag, isip lakang sa pagsiguro sa kaluwasan sa mga estudyante tungod sa padayon nga taas nga heat index.

Gihangyo ang mga ginikanan ug guardians nga padayon nga bantayan ang kahimtang sa ilang mga anak, ilabina ang ilang hustong pag-inom og tubig ug paglikay sa sobra nga kainit.

Ubos sa pagpanguna ni Mayor Manuel Jayr N. Zamora, Jr., ang Municipal Government of Monkayo magpadayon sa koordinasyon uban sa DepEd ug mga concerned offices alang sa kaluwasan ug kaayuhan sa tanan.

The implementation of DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026, Sharing Best Practices in Classroom Assessment, Grading, and Learners Progress Report was successfully conducted last July 31, 2026 at New Kapatagan Elementary School, Purok 18, Casoon, Monkayo, Davao de Oro, Philippines.

A LATE BUT SIGNIFICANT UPDATE, better late than never! We are delighted to share the success of our recent SLAC session, as we believe every meaningful milestone deserves to be celebrated and recognized.

Education is a continuous process, it never stops, and it never settles. It grows, improves, and evolves as we dedicate ourselves to learning alongside those we teach. Guided by this belief, New Kapatagan Elementary School successfully conducted a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) focused on strengthening our practices in Classroom Assessment, Grading, and Learner Progress Reporting in line with DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026.

This session aimed to deepen our understanding, align our standards, and share proven best practices, ensuring that every grade we record and every report we prepare truly reflects the growth, effort, and potential of every learner.

Our deepest gratitude and highest appreciation go to our esteemed Master Teacher, Ma'am Marifel Barredo, for crafting this comprehensive session and for facilitating it with such expertise, dedication, and clarity. As the author and lead facilitator, she ensured that every topic was relevant, practical, and deeply valuable to our daily teaching practice. Thank you, Ma'am, for your commitment to excellence and for leading us toward better ways of serving our learners!

To all our teachers who actively participated, shared insights, and engaged in meaningful discussions, congratulations!
