| One Scan Away: URS and Manila Standard’s Digital Shift
On August 13, 2026, the Manila Standard team visited the University of Rizal System (URS) to distribute free tabletop QR code standees across all 10 URS campuses. The standees give students and faculty members digital access to daily news via ManilaStandard.net through their devices.
The university library welcomed the team during the visit. Ms. Anna Minia Lourdes C. Martinez, University Librarian, said institutional partnerships help expand the university’s learning resources, especially through digital materials that suit today’s generation of library users.

Students are strongly encouraged to avail of this Final Validation Week, as it is open to ALL COLLEGES. Only students with a validated Library Card are allowed to enter the library and avail of its services. Students who fail to validate their Library Card during this final scheduled period will not be permitted to use the library until their card has been validated.

Please note that Library Card Validation is NOT processed at the end of the semester. No validation will be conducted during the Library Clearance period.
