𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 | 𝟰𝟬𝟱𝙩𝙝 𝙍𝙍𝙄𝘽𝙉 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙-𝘼𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙨

Morong, Rizal - Reservist personnel of the 405th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (405RRIBn), under the supervision of the 405th Community Defense Center (405CDC), were deployed to flood-affected areas in Cainta, Rizal, on 17 August 2026 in response to flooding caused by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

The deployed reservists immediately assisted in the evacuation of families from affected areas to designated safe locations. They also assisted residents in reaching safer areas and coordinated with concerned local authorities and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) Personnel to ensure the orderly and safe conduct of the evacuation.

Their prompt response and active participation demonstrated the readiness, discipline, and commitment of the Reserve Force in providing assistance to communities affected by disasters and calamities. The operation also highlighted the important role of reservists in supporting local government units and other agencies during emergency situations.

The 405CDC and 405RRIBn remain steadfast in providing Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) in coordination with concerned authorities, ensuring that trained reservists are ready to respond and assist communities whenever their services are needed.

This activity aims to support the Philippine Army’s commitment to serving the community by promoting volunteerism, compassion, and solidarity through the gift of blood. Every blood donation can help save lives and provide hope to patients and families in times of need.

Morong, Rizal - Amid the continuous effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), reservist personnel of the 405th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion under the supervision of the 405th Community Defense Center were deployed to various areas of Rizal Province to provide Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) support to communities affected by the inclement weather.

The deployment aimed to augment the response efforts of local authorities and provide immediate assistance in areas affected by flooding, fallen trees, and other weather-related incidents brought about by the prevailing Habagat.

One of the notable incidents during the deployment occurred in Antipolo City, where reservist personnel responded to a reported incident involving a fallen tree that struck a male individual.

The deployed reservists immediately provided assistance at the scene and coordinated with the concerned authorities and responders to help address the situation. Their prompt presence demonstrated the importance of having trained and ready Reserve Force available to augment local disaster response operations during emergencies.

The incident further emphasized the risks posed by strong winds and continuous rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon, highlighting the need for vigilance, preparedness, and coordinated community response.

The 405th Community Defense Center and 405th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion reaffirm the commitment of the Philippine Army to supporting local communities and government agencies during times of disaster and emergency. Through their readiness, dedication, and willingness to serve, the reservists remain steadfast in their mission to protect, assist, and serve the people of Rizal Province.

Morong, Rizal - The 405th Community Defense Center actively participated in the Orientation on the Institutionalization of the Emergency Response Cluster held on 27 July 2027 at the Municipal Audio-Visual Room, 2nd Floor, Municipal Building, T. Claudio Street, Brgy. San Pedro, Morong, Rizal.

The activity brought together key stakeholders and partner agencies to strengthen coordination, establish unified emergency response mechanisms, and enhance disaster preparedness within the municipality. The orientation emphasized the importance of a collaborative and well-organized response system to ensure the timely and effective delivery of assistance during emergencies and disasters.

Through its participation, the 405th Community Defense Center reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to supporting the Local Government Unit of Morong and partner agencies in promoting resilience, public safety, and disaster risk reduction. The activity further strengthened inter-agency cooperation and underscored the vital role of preparedness, coordination, and shared responsibility in safeguarding communities.
