Gratitude that Whistles, Serves, and Inspires! 🎓💙

As the school year closes, BES celebrates not just achievements but the generous hearts that made our ceremonies shine:

- To Mam Catherine F. Panabang, former BES teacher, for the 2 dozen of plates and a big aluminum whistling kettle—proof that even kettles can whistle louder than applause when filled with love.
- To our anonymous alumna donor, for the 10 toga gowns already proudly worn by Batch 2025–2026 graduates—showing that true generosity doesn’t need a name, only a heart.
- To the group of parents who quietly gifted a silyasi—reminding us that sometimes the most powerful giving is done in silence.

Because of you, our graduates walked with dignity, our celebrations rang with warmth, and our community stood taller together.

Indeed, the best kettles whistle, the best plates serve, the best silyasi sustains, and the best gowns inspire.

Let us be inspired by the journey of Ms. Rose Saleo-an, proud alumna of Batch 2001–2002. From her life’s challenges to where she stands today, she continues to give back—first to her family, and most of all, to her beloved Alma Mater, Balili Elementary School.

“You need not be the best. What is important is to keep learning, keep moving forward, don’t stop, and always remain humble."

BES Learners at the Division Schools Press Conference

The Division Schools Press Conference was held at Serapio Gawan National High School, Paracelis, Mountain Province, with our learners proudly representing the Bontoc District — Arlyn C. Tapi and Yvonne Kate A. Buyagao in News Writing (English & Filipino), and Jzhanne Eleighna Discaya in Photojournalism (Filipino). This event took place on February 11–13, 2026.

While they did not place in the Top 3 in their individual events, their News Page entry achieved 2nd Place, a strong reflection of the editorial pool’s teamwork, creativity, and commitment.

Every experience was already a winning moment, as the lessons learned and skills sharpened will continue to inspire growth. Truly, participation itself is a victory.

Our heartfelt thanks to the parents for their support, the PTA for ensuring the learners’ travel and meals were well provided, and to our school head Nora N. Sagandoy, together with Fabiola Sudaypan and Jerzhan Discaya, whose guidance and assistance helped address incidental needs during the event.

The coach anf learners alike are recognized for their dedication, teamwork, and passion for campus journalism. This achievement proves that success is not only measured by rankings, but by the COURAGE to REPRESENT and the EFFORT to EXCELL... going beyond MERE PARTICPATION to truly embody the spirit of growth and excellence.
