Alhamdulillah for another meaningful project for the people of Munai. The ongoing concreting of the Munaiโ€“Pantao Ragat Road in Barangay Balabacun and Barangay Taporog, Munai, Lanao del Norte, with โ‚ฑ170 million in allocated funds, reflects the sincere commitment of ๐‡๐จ๐ง. ๐‘๐š๐œ๐ฆ๐š ๐ƒ. ๐€๐ง๐๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ฆ๐š and her husband, ๐„๐ง๐ ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ซ ๐€๐ง๐๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ฆ๐š, to the welfare and progress of the Emunain.

The Municipality of Munai proudly celebrated the 52nd Nutrition Month with the theme, "๐๐ฎ๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ญ ๐Š๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ค๐š๐ฌ๐š๐ง, ๐€๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ ๐š๐š๐ง," held at the Municipal Hall of Munai, Lanao del Norte.

The event was led by ๐‡๐จ๐ง. ๐‘๐š๐œ๐ฆ๐š ๐ƒ. ๐€๐ง๐๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ฆ๐š in partnership with the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Munai. It brought together children and their parents for a fun-filled day of educational and interactive activities.

One of the highlights of the celebration was raising awareness about the importance of proper nutrition during the first 1,000 days of a child's life, emphasizing its vital role in ensuring healthy growth and development.

The Municipality of Munai actively participated in the 2026 Region X Disaster Preparedness Forum: โ€œHarmonizing LGU Preparedness Actions for a Resilient Northern Mindanaoโ€ held on July 16, 2026 in Cagayan de Oro City.

Representing the Municipality were Municipal Mayor Racma D. Andamama, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (MDRRMO) Nojomah D. Bato, and Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Rachel Amod. Together with other local government officials and DILG field officers from across Region X, they took part in discussions aimed at enhancing disaster preparedness, emergency response, and resilience-building initiatives.

The forum featured sessions on disaster preparedness and community resilience, crisis management and emergency coordination, earthquake preparedness and risk-informed planning, climate and disaster risk governance, and updates on national and regional DRRM policies, programs, and initiatives.

DILG Munai remains steadfast in supporting initiatives that strengthen local governance and foster safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready communities.
