𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄! | 𝐋𝐒𝐈 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐁𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐘 𝐏𝐀𝐆-𝐀𝐒𝐀 – 𝐃𝐀𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐈Ñ𝐀𝐒!
The Regional Juvenile Justice and Welfare Committee (RJJWC) IV-A conducted a capacity-building session on the “𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐋𝐒𝐈) 𝐓𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 (𝐂𝐀𝐑) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐰 (𝐂𝐈𝐂𝐋)” at Bahay Pag-asa, LGU Dasmariñas from 13 to 14 July 2026.
Mr. Ser August Perpetua from DSWD IV-A and Mr. Mikko Villamayor, RJJWC IV-A Secretariat, acted as the facilitators for the two-day event.
On the first day of the training, Mr. Perpetua imparted his valuable insights, expertise, and knowledge regarding the Modules of the LSI for the Dasmariñas’ Bahay Pag-asa and Bahay Kalinga Multi-disciplinary Team.
On the second day, the participants carried out a simulation exercise to provide LSI training to their residents, which was evaluated by the facilitators. Then, a culminating activity was also held that both residents and the MDT attended.
"Life skills" are abilities for adaptive and positive behavior that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. These are essential and help children adapt to different situations and overcome obstacles or challenges in life.
