#𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗪𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀

Making mistakes is part of the job, lalo sa pagganap ng tungkulin as a public servant. Pero bago ka matakot magkamali, remember these four lessons every mistake can teach us.

Una, never be afraid of mistakes kasi walang perpektong tao. Minsan, mas napipigilan pa tayo ng takot na magkamali kaysa sa mismong pagkakamali.

Second, mistakes are opportunities. Opportunities to learn, improve, and innovate. Ang importante, may natutunan tayo at nahanap na paraan para maging better sa susunod.

Third, not all mistakes are bad. Minsan, kahit hindi maabot ang original objective, doon pa tayo nadadala sa mas magandang direction. Best examples ko palagi dito ang invention ng post-it notes at penicillin.

Pero lastly, and more importantly, mistakes should never be repeated. Kung natuto tayo, dapat may pagbabago. Kapag paulit-ulit na ang pagkakamali, baka may kailangan na talagang baguhin sa sarili.

As we enter the last quarter of 2026, sana mahabol natin ang mga objectives na naiwan pa. Let’s learn from what didn’t work, improve what we can, and finish the year on a high note.

Ang challenge ko para sa mga kabataang dumalo sa Youth Summit and Mass Oath Taking, is to make their oath taking the start of knowing their purpose—para kanino ba sila naglilingkod?

I’m really hoping na dalhin nila ang commitment na maging catalysts of positive change. Pagbabago sa sarili, sa community, at sa Muntinlupa.
