The Sangguniang Bayan Members of Naawan, together with Vice Mayor, Hon. Allan B. Roa, warmly participated in the celebration of the 48th National Disability Rights Week, spearheaded by the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Local Government Unit of Naawan .

We sincerely appreciate the invitation extended to us and are grateful for the opportunity to join this meaningful celebration that promotes the rights, welfare, inclusion, empowerment, and equal opportunities of persons with disabilities (PWDs).

The Sangguniang Bayan Members of Naawan, headed by Hon. Allan B. Roa, Vice Mayor, together with the OIC-SB Secretary and SB Staff, actively participated in the 3-Day Seminar on “Leveraging Local Sanggunians’ Quasi-Judicial Functions” held on August 5-7,2026 at Pearlmont Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

The seminar was a joint undertaking of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) – Misamis Oriental Chapter.

This important learning activity aims to strengthen the knowledge, competence, and capability of the members of the Local Sanggunians in the proper and effective exercise of their quasi-judicial functions, particularly in handling cases and matters within their legal authority.

Through continuous learning and capacity-building, the Sangguniang Bayan of Naawan remains committed to promoting competent, responsible, and effective local governance in service to the people of Naawan.

Nagkahiusa ug dali nga gi-aprubahan sa mga miyembro sa Sangguniang Bayan sa Naawan, ubos sa pagpangulo ni Vice Mayor Allan B. Roa, ang pagpasar sa usa ka Resolution nga naghangyo kang Congressman Bambi Emano, alang sa pagpatukod sa Youth Center/Building sa Municipality of Naawan.

Ang maong proyekto nagpakita sa lig-on nga suporta sa Sangguniang Bayan sa kabatan-onan.

Dako usab ang among pagpasalamat kang Mayor Dennis L. Roa sa iyang padayon nga pag-atiman ug pagsuporta sa mga programa alang sa kaayohan sa kabatan-onan sa atong lungsod.

Nagpasalamat usab kami kang Congressman Bambi Emano sa iyang padayon nga suporta ug kooperasyon sa mga proyekto nga makatabang sa kalamboan sa Municipality of Naawan ug sa kaugmaon sa atong mga kabatan-onan.

Uban sa panaghiusa, atong palig-onon ang kaugmaon sa kabatan-onan alang sa mas maayong Naawan.

On July 8, 2026, the Sangguniang Bayan Members, headed by Vice Mayor Allan B. Roa, together with the Sangguniang Bayan Secretary & Staff, conducted a benchmarking visit to the Sangguniang Bayan Office of LGU Lugait to learn about their Archiving and Records Management System.

The delegation extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Sangguniang Bayan of Lugait for the warm hospitality extended to the team, led by Vice Mayor Roger G. Lim, together with Sangguniang Bayan Secretary Mr. Cedric G. Dayta and the dedicated SB staff. Their gracious welcome and willingness to share their knowledge made the visit both productive and meaningful.

Ms. Jeah May C. Alisbo delivered informative lectures and shared valuable insights, recommendations, and best practices on proper records management, archiving procedures, and the preservation of official government documents. The delegation also toured the Archives/Records Room to observe LGU Lugait's filing and records management system, gaining practical ideas and techniques that can help strengthen and enhance the records management practices of the Sangguniang Bayan of Naawan.

This benchmarking activity reflects the Sangguniang Bayan of Naawan's commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and the adoption of best practices that promote efficient records management.
