🌱 A TREE TODAY, A LEGACY TOMORROW

Today, as we join the Synchronized Arbor Day 2026, we are reminded that caring for the environment is not simply an obligation—it is a promise we make to the generations who will come after us.

Every seedling we plant is a small act of hope. It may begin as something fragile and insignificant, but with time, care, and commitment, it can grow into a source of shade, life, clean air, and protection for an entire community.

As the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Nabas, we believe that environmental stewardship begins with collective action. Government can lead, but it is through the participation of every Nabasaño that meaningful change truly takes root.

May today remind us that we do not inherit the Earth merely to use it—we are entrusted to care for it.

Let us plant with purpose. Let us protect with courage. And let us leave behind a Nabas that is greener, healthier, and more beautiful than the one we inherited.

As the MENRO Officer Designate, I am glad to join the distribution of leaflets to our vendors at the public market as part of the EIC campaign on proper waste segregation.

This simple reminder is an important step toward keeping our market clean, orderly, and environmentally responsible. Through cooperation and discipline, we can all help protect our community.

🌳 Rooted in Responsibility, Growing with Purpose

Today, I had the privilege of joining the Arbor Day 2026 Tree Planting Activity in Brgy. Buenasuerte, Nabas, Aklan. Together with our dedicated partners, volunteers, and community members, we planted not only trees but also seeds of hope for a greener and more resilient future.

As MENRO Officer Designate, I firmly believe that environmental stewardship is a shared responsibility. Every seedling we place in the ground represents our commitment to protecting our natural resources, mitigating the impacts of climate change, and ensuring that future generations inherit a healthy and thriving environment.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and supported this meaningful activity. Let us continue working hand in hand to make Nabas a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable municipality.
