Through the initiative of former Mayor Delia C. Simbulan and Mayor Fernando D. Simbulan, Nabua was able to secure a grant under the SAGIP SAKA Program, authored by Senator Kiko Pangilinan and supported by Senator Risa Hontiveros. In March 2024, three local associations were endorsed, and by 2026, the Nabua Coconut Farmers Multipurpose Association, led by Mrs. Anita D. Babilonia, successfully received a ₱1.075 million grant. The funds will serve as working capital for palay trading and the purchase of a truck to strengthen the association’s operations. Gratitude is extended to all leaders and partners who made the project possible, as the community continues to advance farmer empowerment. 🌾🚜
