The 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 (𝗟𝗥𝗗) provided assistance during the program accreditation activities for the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗦), 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗔𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗦), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 (𝗕𝗦𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵) programs. The activity included a virtual tour and interview focusing on the library and learning resources, facilities, services, and other relevant areas that support the academic needs and requirements of the programs.

The virtual tour was facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗜𝗺𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗹, BLIS Program Chair, and was followed by a virtual interview participated by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗬𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗼 𝗔. 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘀, Head of the Learning Resources and Development Unit, and selected faculty of programs under survey. The activity was conducted to provide the accreditor with relevant information and demonstrate the LRD's available resources, facilities, services, and support mechanisms for students and faculty members of the participating programs.

The accreditation activity was led by Librarian Accreditor 𝗘𝘂𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮 𝗕. 𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘀, 𝗥𝗟, 𝗠𝗟𝗜𝗦, the Sumacab Campus Head Librarian of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), Sumacab Este, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. Through the virtual tour and interview, the LRD presented its existing library resources and services and addressed the queries and requirements raised during the accreditation process. The activity also highlighted the LRD's ongoing commitment to providing accessible, relevant, and high-quality learning resources to support the academic programs and the institution's pursuit of continuous improvement and quality assurance.

A proud moment for the 𝗖𝗦𝗣𝗖 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 as our very own 𝗠𝗿. 𝗬𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗼 𝗔. 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘀, Head of Learning Resources and Development Unit, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗧. 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, College Librarian I, were featured in 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿’𝘀 during the 𝗕.𝗔.𝗦.𝗔. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, a library benchmarking and knowledge-exchange conference held at 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Their insights highlighted the value of sharing practices, learning from other institutions, and continuously finding ways to make the library more adaptive, responsive, and relevant to the evolving needs of learners.

We are grateful to have our LRD team represented in this meaningful exchange of ideas and experiences among library professionals from the Magnificent 22 SUCs. Indeed, there is always something new to learn, share, and bring home for the benefit of our learners and our community.

The 𝐂𝐒𝐏𝐂 - 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 actively participated in 𝐁.𝐀.𝐒.𝐀. 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, a two-day Library Benchmarking and Knowledge-Exchange Conference of the “𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝟐𝟐” 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐔𝐂𝐬). The conference was held on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟔–𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐲𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐒𝐋𝐒𝐔) 𝐒𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬, 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐲𝐭𝐞.

Representing the college were 𝐘𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐨 𝐀. 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐬, Head of Learning Resources and Development Unit; 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐓. 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, College Librarian I; and 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐠, Administrative Assistant I.

The initiative brought together library professionals from 22 State Universities and Colleges under the care of 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐎𝐧𝐠, providing a meaningful platform for sharing innovative practices, exchanging knowledge and experiences, strengthening professional collaboration, and exploring ways to further improve academic library services.

CSPC LRD’s participation reflects its continued commitment to professional growth, collaboration, and innovation, as it continues to embrace practices that respond to the evolving needs of the academic community and contribute to the continuous improvement of library services.

The 𝐂𝐒𝐏𝐂 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 featured 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥, a staff member of the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 and a former CSPC student, as a special guest on 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, from 𝟏𝟎:𝟑𝟎 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟏:𝟑𝟎 𝐚.𝐦.

Ms. Sabanal, who recently passed the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬, shared her journey toward becoming a licensed librarian during the program.

Joining her was 𝐈𝐦𝐞𝐞 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐥, 𝐌𝐋𝐈𝐒, 𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫, who discussed Ms. Sabanal's experiences, challenges, and preparations throughout her examination journey. She also shared encouragement for aspiring librarians to stay determined and trust the process in pursuing their professional goals.

The LRD Unit celebrates Sabanal’s achievement, which reflects her dedication to professional growth and serves as an encouraging example to students and aspiring librarians in the CSPC community.
