𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗪𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗼

In line with the Department of Education Career Guidance Program (DepEd - CGP), Nabunturan National Comprehensive High School (NNCHS) on Friday hosted a division-wide career guidance fair attended by all school districts across Davao de Oro.

Dubbed as 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘳 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘌𝘹𝘱𝘰: 𝘕𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘗𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦, it featured a college fair by which local colleges and universities initiated and a presentation of each school district's best practices (International research publications, work immersion programs, and the like).

"All Grade 12 students are required to attend the said activity and must be accompanied by their respective advisers throughout the duration of the forum," School Principal IV Roger H. Prades said, emphasizing it was for guidance and formal supervision.

Career Guidance Focal Felicisima P. Lofstrand shared her thoughts on the relevance of this kind of program, believing it as something essential for student growth and ease students in navigating through career paths.

"The Career Exploration Expo will equip students in making the right choice with their chosen career path, " Lofstrand cited. "It is a big help for the students to be exposed to different careers and opportunities."

The 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗼 successfully conducted its first 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The meeting served as a platform to discuss key agendas, including learner government elections, youth programs, leadership initiatives, and district accomplishments.

In addition, a special election was held for the vacant position of 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿 (𝗣𝗜𝗢) following a resignation. We proudly congratulate 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗗. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗼 of 𝗡𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 for being elected as the 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗜𝗢.

Today, December 17, 2025, Compostela National High School went to Florencio M. Guay Elementary School at Sitio Kilabot, Brgy. Ngan to officially carry out Project BITUIN Year 2, a project created with the goal of spreading hope, inspiration, and joy to our young learners. 🌟

This meaningful activity was more than just a visit—it was a heartfelt act of service that showed the true spirit of leadership, unity, and compassion. Through Project BITUIN, our officers aimed to motivate the pupils, share positive values, and remind them that they are seen, supported, and capable of achieving great things in the future.

The smiles, laughter, and warm interactions we shared with the students made this day truly special and unforgettable. It also strengthened the bond between our school and the community, proving that even small acts of kindness can create a big impact.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Kilabot Elementary School for warmly welcoming us and for allowing us to be part of the pupils’ day. This successful activity would not have been possible without the teamwork, dedication, and commitment of our SSLG Officers.

This symposium served as a meaningful opportunity for us to deepen our understanding of the realities and dangers of 𝑶𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑺𝒆𝒙𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒍𝒐𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒏. Through the discussions and testimonies shared, we were reminded of the urgent need to protect children, raise awareness, and stand united in breaking harmful norms that allow exploitation to continue.

As youth leaders, we commit to becoming advocates for child safety and empowerment in our school and community.
