Malampusong gipahigayon ang Tulo ka Adlaw nga Capacity Building sa Pagpalig-on sa Referral Mechanism alang sa mga Kaso sa Child Abuse ug Violence Against Women and Their Children (VAWC) sa mga Eskwelahan ug Komunidad niadtong Hulyo 15โ€“17, 2026 sa Dโ€™Fortees Nature Park and Inland Resort, Montevista, Davao de Oro.

Ang maong kalihokan, ubos sa suporta ug liderato ni Governor Engr. Raul G. Mabanglo, nagtigom sa mga School Guidance Counselors, PNPโ€“Women and Children Protection Desk (PNP-WCPD), Provincial Council for the Protection of Children (PCPC), LCAT-VAWC Focal Persons, ug Child Representatives aron mapalig-on ang koordinasyon ug referral mechanism sa pag-atubang sa mga kaso sa child abuse ug VAWC.

Pinaagi sa mga lecture, workshop, ug case discussions, mas napalambo ang kahibalo ug kapasidad sa mga partisipante sa paghatag og tukma, hapsay, ug survivor-centered nga mga serbisyo. Gipasiugda usab niini ang kamahinungdanon sa usa ka epektibo nga referral system aron mapanalipdan ang katungod ug kaayohan sa kabataan ug sa mga biktima sa kapintasan.

Nagpadayon ang Provinsyal nga Gobyerno sa Davao de Oro sa iyang lig-on nga paningkamot sa pagtukod og luwas, child-friendly, ug gender-responsive nga mga eskwelahan ug komunidad pinaagi sa panaghiusa, koordinasyon, ug hiniusang responsibilidad.

Magtinabangay kita sa pagpalig-on sa sistema sa pagpanalipod alang sa matag bata ug matag biktima sa kapintasan.

As part of the nationwide observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End VAW, the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) produced the โ€œAlam Mo VAW?โ€ Street Interviews.

โ€œAlam Mo VAWโ€ is a video presentation showcasing interviews initiated by PCW, where people on the street are asked about their awareness and understanding of VAW-related laws, particularly RA 9262, RA 8353 as amended by RA 11648, RA 11313, RA 7877, and RA 9208 as amended by RA 11862.

PCW conducted on-the-spot interviews with willing respondents from various public places in the City of Manila, the capital of the Philippines, including train stations, parks, markets, university areas, and barangays surrounding the Malacaรฑang Palace.

Individuals were interviewed, including members of the Le***an, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Q***r, Intersex, Asexual, and others (LGBTQIA+) community.

- Mga pahayag nga may sekswal nga pahiwatig (sexually suggestive) โ€” pabiro man o tinuod.
- Pagpangayo ug sekswal nga pabor kapalit sa taas nga evaluation, sweldo, o benepisyo sa trabaho โ€” bisan unsa pa ang posisyon sa nang-abuso.
- Paninipol ug pambabastos sa kalsada, dili angay nga imbitasyon, ug pagpangayo sa personal nga impormasyon sa pampublikong lugar.
- Pangmamanyak sa public transportation, malisyosong pagtutok, ug mga pulong nga may sekswal nga kahulugan.
- Mga komentaryo, joke nga naay kalaswaan o may sekswal nga intensyon.
- Paggamit sa transphobic ug homophobic nga mga pulong, lakip ang mapanglait nga komentaryo sa panagway sa usa ka tawo.
- Cyberstalking, padayon nga pagpadala ug bastos nga mensahe, ug ang pagpakalat sa internet sa mga bastos hulagway o bisan unsang pasangil nga walay kamatuoran.
