The Barangay Poblacion Educational Scholarship and Honors Program (BESHPro) would like to inform the public that the application and submission of requirements for the 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗗.

We sincerely thank all honor student applicants who submitted their requirements and participated in this year’s application process.

However, applications for the 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗣𝗿𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡. Eligible students who wish to apply as scholarship beneficiaries are still encouraged to submit their requirements within the designated application period.

DEADLINE EXTENDED for the KKD Basketball League!

Due to the unforeseen changes of venue and game schedules we will be extending our registration period until JUNE 11, 2026. We also gave considerations to teams who have submitted their entries on time but have lacking documents.

TEAMS WHO HAVE SUMBITTED THEIR ENTRIES ON TIME:

2. Linda Ballers (Coach: Indybert Balasbas_ Team Capt.: Kinneath Estrera)
3. CDC Cabidianan (Coach:_ Team Capt., Marc Bacolot)

We will now accept online submission of documents with the following conditions:

1. Tanang I.d's, Certificate of Residency ug ang General Information Sheet naka compile lang sa isa ka file kada team. Palihog convert ni sa PDF format.
2. Ang I.D's dapat visible ang address and birthdate. Picturan back to back.
3. Dawaton namo ang Team submission bisag naay kulang nga I.D or residency pero ug dili makapasa ang maong team sa kulang nga dokumento on or before sa gihatag na deaadline, ang maong player/players dili na maapil sa line-up sa maong Team.
4. Libre ang registration sa maong padula. Optional lang pud ang Jersey uniforms.

Puwede ra mag submit ug hard copies sa among opisina during office hours. Please be guided.

Get your sneakers laced up and your team spirits high! The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Poblacion Nabunturan, under the leadership of SK Chairperson Honorable Kailyn Joize B. De Leon; in celebration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and 69th Araw ng Barangay Poblacion proudly presents:

🏆 KABATAAN KONTRA DROGA BASKETBALL LEAGUE – YEAR 3! 🏆

We are bringing the community together through sports, camaraderie, and a drug-free lifestyle. Are you ready to represent and claim the court?
Here is everything you need to know to get your team in the game:

REGISTRATION IS FREE!!!

📅 IMPORTANT DATES & VENUE
Registration Deadline: On or before May 29, 2026 (Office Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Tentative League Opening: 2nd Week of June 2026
Venue: Public Market Gymnasium, Poblacion, Nabunturan

👥 ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS
Category: Inter-Barangay (Under 30 Years Old Bracket)
Age Requirement: Players must be 15 to 30 years old on the exact day of the league.
Residency: Must be a bonafide resident of the Municipality of Nabunturan.

⚙️ GENERAL MECHANICS

- Roster Limit: A maximum of 15 players per team (12 active players on court, 3 reserves). Only officially listed players can play—NO additions or substitutions once the league starts!
- Team Composition Options:
"Solid Barangay": All players are from the same barangay. The team name must be the name of their Barangay. (Only 1 team per barangay is allowed!)
"Mixed-Barangay": Players come from different barangays within Nabunturan. Note: Their team names must NOT bear the name of any barangay. If a Barangay fails to submit a team, its players can join a mixed team.

Official Uniforms: Upper team uniforms are strictly required before the second game of the eliminations. Our official tournament tailoring sponsor is Sophia's Tailoring. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.

Fair Play & Conduct: Unsportsmanlike conduct, fighting, or disrespect toward officials and organizers will result in automatic sanctions or disqualification. The decision of the referees and tournament officials is FINAL.

Protests: Must be filed before the tournament starts. Any protests made after will not be entertained.

Coaching: Each team can select a coach of their preference (NO panalay coaches allowed). Coaches and Team Captains will be added to an official GC for direct communications.

- Requirements: must be submitted in hard copies inside a brown envelope.

2. Photocopy of a Valid ID
3. Accomplished Team General Information Sheet (G.I.S).

What a thrilling night of precision, focus, and intense competition! Yesterday, May 22, 2026, the Barangay Hall Poblacion, Nabunturan was filled with high energy and cheering crowds as our local dart enthusiasts stepped up to the oche for the Palarong Pambarangay 2026 Dart Tournament!

This successful sporting event was proudly spearheaded by our dedicated Committee on Sports Chairperson, Honorable Raphael Ivan C. Melendres, alongside our active SK Chairperson, Kailyn Joize De Leon, proving once again that sportsmanship and youth leadership are alive and thriving in our barangay! 🌟

🏸 THE SMASHING SUCCESS CONTINUES! 🏸

The court was on fire last May 18, 2026, as we successfully concluded the Palarong Pambarangay 2026 Badminton Tournament at the Purok 9 Gymnasium! 🎉

This thrilling sports event was made possible through the dynamic leadership of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Poblacion, headed by Honorable Kailyn Joize B. De Leon.

Special thanks and recognition go to our Committee on Sports Chairperson, Honorable Raphael Ivan C. Melendres, for spearheading this initiative and continuously championing youth development and sportsmanship in our community!

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our efficient tournament managers, Mr. Kelly “Kloy” Guerta and Mr. Ronn Jayserson Maranan, for their hard work and dedication in ensuring a smooth and successful tournament!
