𝗠𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗜 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗡𝗔𝗕 𝟯, 𝗦𝗘𝗜𝗭𝗘 ₱𝟳𝟬𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗢𝗙 𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘𝗗 𝗦𝗠𝗨𝗚𝗚𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗦

Three individuals were arrested while allegedly unloading smuggled ci******es during a joint law enforcement operation conducted in Brgy. Cadunan, Mabini, Davao de Oro.

The operation stemmed from information provided by a concerned citizen through a cellular phone call reporting the presence of individuals allegedly involved in the unloading of suspected smuggled ci******es in the area.

Acting on the report, personnel of the Mabini Municipal Police Station, together with units from the 2nd Davao de Oro Provincial Mobile Force Company, Regional Special Operations Group, Municipal Law Enforcement Team, and the Bureau of Internal Revenue–Tagum, immediately conducted a coordinated law enforcement operation.

Upon arrival at the target area, the operating teams allegedly caught the suspects in the act of unloading cigarette products believed to be smuggled and without the required Graphic Health Warnings.

The arrested suspects were identified as three male individuals aged 27 to 37 years old, all residents of different areas within Davao de Oro and Davao Oriental.

Confiscated during the operation were a motor vehicle used in the transport of the contraband, thirty-six sacks containing suspected D and J brand ci******es, and ten master cases of the same cigarette brand. The total estimated value of the seized items reached approximately ₱705,000.00.

The arrested individuals, along with the confiscated items, are currently under the custody of the Mabini Municipal Police Station for proper documentation and the filing of appropriate charges in coordination with concerned government agencies.

The Mabini Municipal Police Station reiterated its strong commitment to intensifying anti-smuggling operations and ensuring strict enforcement of laws to protect public welfare and uphold the rule of law.

𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗵𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗼

The Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office, through Maco Municipal Police Station and in coordination with the Davao de Oro Provincial Highway Patrol Team and Regional Mobile Unit 11, successfully conducted a Joint Manhunt Charlie Operation in Barangay Dumlan, Maco, Davao de Oro.

The operation resulted in the arrest of a wanted person by virtue of a warrant of arrest for Grave Threats and Slight Physical Injuries issued by the Municipal Trial Court of Maco, Davao de Oro. The court recommended bail for both offenses.

The accused was informed of the nature of his arrest and apprised of his constitutional rights in a dialect known to him. He was subsequently brought to the Municipal Health Office for physical and medical examination.

The arrested individual is now under the custody of Maco Municipal Police Station for proper documentation and disposition.

PLTCOL ESTRELLO B RAMISO, Deputy Provincial Director for Operations of the Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office (DDOPPO), together with PMSg Jericho G Pondias, was conferred the Medalya ng Kadakilaan during the Flag Raising Ceremony held at Police Regional Office 11.

The award recognizes their exemplary service, dedication to duty, and steadfast commitment to the ideals of the Philippine National Police.

𝗗𝗗𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢 𝗗𝗘𝗣𝗟𝗢𝗬𝗦 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗡𝗘𝗟 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗠𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠

The Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office (DDOPPO) joined the Provincial Government of Davao de Oro and the Armed Forces of the Philippines in the formal send-off ceremony of the Mobile Community Support Sustainment Team (MCSST) during the Flag Raising Ceremony held on June 1, 2026, at the Provincial Capitol Grounds.

The MCSST is composed of 33 personnel, including 27 soldiers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ 25th Infantry Battalion and six police personnel from DDOPPO. The team will be deployed to the geographically isolated barangays of Ngan in Compostela, Andap in New Bataan, and Tagnanan in Mabini.

The deployed personnel are tasked to help maintain peace and order, strengthen community engagement, and 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨. Their presence aims to bring government services closer to the people while supporting programs that promote security, development, and community resilience.

DDOPPO Provincial Director PCOL CESARIO D DUKILING JR expressed the office’s full support for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among government agencies, local communities, and stakeholders in sustaining the gains of peace and ensuring that Davao de Oro remains insurgency-free.

The Provincial Government, under the leadership of Governor Raul Mabanglo, reaffirmed its commitment through Oplan Pagbabago by continuously delivering social services, infrastructure projects, and development programs that contribute to lasting peace and progress throughout the province.

𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘆-𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office, through Monkayo Municipal Police Station and in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), successfully conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Baylo, Monkayo, resulting in the arrest of two drug suspects.

The operation led to the apprehension of the suspects for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Authorities recovered several sachets containing suspected shabu and marked buy-bust money during the operation.

The suspects were informed of their constitutional rights and taken into police custody for proper documentation and disposition. The confiscated evidence was properly marked and inventoried in accordance with established procedures, while appropriate charges are being prepared for filing.

In support of the upcoming celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day, the Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office actively participated in the Joint Coordinating Meeting conducted by the Provincial Sports Development Program of Davao de Oro on May 29, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

Representing the Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office, 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗢 𝗗 𝗗𝗨𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗝𝗥, Provincial Director, attended the meeting in relation to the “Sikad Kalayaan” Program, a cycling activity set on June 12, 2026, as part of the province’s commemoration of Araw ng Kalayaan.

The meeting focused on the coordination of security preparations, traffic management, safety measures, and inter-agency collaboration to ensure the orderly and successful conduct of the activity. Participating agencies likewise discussed their respective roles and responsibilities in promoting public safety and strengthening community participation during the celebration.

Under the leadership of 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗢 𝗗 𝗗𝗨𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗝𝗥, DDOPPO remains committed in supporting programs that promote patriotism, unity, healthy lifestyle, and strong partnership among government agencies and the community in honoring the nation’s independence.

In support of community wellness and public service, the Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office (DDOPPO), under the leadership of 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗢 𝗗 𝗗𝗨𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗝𝗥, actively participated in the conduct of the “Kalambo-an sa Maayong Panglawas Serbisyo Caravan” held on May 29, 2026, at Barangay Banglasan, Montevista, Davao de Oro.

The outreach activity gathered various government agencies and stakeholders to deliver essential health and social services to residents of the community. DDOPPO contributed meaningful assistance through the provision of Libreng Tuli, Libreng Gupit, Libreng Champorado, and Libreng Ice Cream, bringing both care and joy to the beneficiaries, especially children and families who attended the event.

Police personnel warmly assisted residents throughout the activity, reflecting the commitment of the Philippine National Police not only in maintaining peace and order but also in strengthening community relations through compassionate public service. The free circumcision and haircut services benefited many young residents, while the food assistance created a welcoming and festive atmosphere for the community.

𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗢 𝗗 𝗗𝗨𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗝𝗥, Provincial Director of DDOPPO, emphasized that community engagement programs like this promote stronger partnerships between the police and the people. He underscored that genuine public service goes beyond law enforcement and includes initiatives that uplift the welfare and well-being of every community member.

The activity also highlighted the importance of collaboration among local government units, partner agencies, and uniformed personnel in delivering responsive and people-centered services to geographically distant communities. Through continued participation in humanitarian and civic programs, DDOPPO remains steadfast in its mission of serving with integrity, compassion, and dedication for the people of Davao de Oro.

The Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office (DDOPPO), under the leadership of 𝗣𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗢 𝗗 𝗗𝗨𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗝𝗥, Provincial Director, spearheaded the turn-over ceremony of the Quick Impact Project dubbed “𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗼, 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝗞𝗼” to beneficiary 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘂𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘀 on May 28, 2026, at Barangay Cogonon, New Bataan, Davao de Oro.

Joining the Provincial Director during the activity was 𝗣𝗖𝗣𝗧 𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘 𝗣 𝗔𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗢𝗡, R-PSB Focal Person. The project was successfully initiated and constructed through the efforts of Revitalized Pulis sa Barangay (R-PSB) Cluster 2 led by 𝗣𝗠𝗦𝗴 𝗘𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮, Team Leader, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of New Bataan headed by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴-𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗮, the Barangay Local Government Unit of Cogonon, and various private stakeholders.

PCOL DUKILING emphasized that the project reflects the strong collaboration between the Philippine National Police and the community in promoting compassion, unity, and public service beyond law enforcement duties.
