Stakeholders mobilize support for Calinogan ES
Despite serving only 35 learners and operating with a six-member teaching force, Calinogan Elementary School, a Last Mile School in Monkayo, received overwhelming support from Provincial and Municipal Local Government Units, private industries, community partners, and volunteers during the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Division Kick-Off Ceremony held on June 2, 2026, helping prepare the school for the opening of School Year 2026–2027.
The collective effort focused on improving the school's physical environment and learning spaces, reflecting the spirit of bayanihan and the shared commitment of stakeholders to providing a safe, welcoming, and conducive learning environment for learners in geographically isolated communities.
Through the combined efforts of the school community and its partners, Calinogan Elementary School is now ready to welcome learners for the new school year.
The activity underscored the importance of collaboration and stakeholder engagement in creating better educational opportunities for underserved school communities.
