Last 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 became a battleground of ideas as 𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐄 Party and 𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐆 Party stood firm in their principles, presenting platforms built on trust, action, and change. It was more than speeches–it was conviction. It was courage. It was leadership stepping forward.

On 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, the ballots were cast. Every vote carried a voice, and every choice shaped what comes next. 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 was not just about selecting leaders—it was about claiming our role in defining the future of our school.

LOOK: Considering the large number of students who participated in the 2026 Sinulog Festival, Gov. Pamela Baricuatro has ordered the suspension of classes tomorrow for all levels in public schools under provincial jurisdiction.

This will allow students time to rest and travel home safely.

Additionally, Capitol employees who are working during the festival this weekend are granted a compensatory day off tomorrow.

There were seconds filled with suspense, sudden cheers, and playful groans—followed by conversations that stayed long after the round was over. A little trust here. A little courage there. A lot of joy in between.

Between the noise, there were pauses. Popcorn breaks. Movie corners. Karaoke lines sung without fear. Moments where nothing special was happening—yet everything felt special.

Students’ Day at CNICSTCA wasn’t about doing things perfectly. It was about showing up, trying anyway, and sharing the experience—across sections, across grade levels, across comfort zones.

They listened to a short talk on anti-bullying awareness, highlighting the importance of kindness, empathy, and creating safe spaces within schools. 🫂
