Bigg's Tri 300

Bigg's Tri 300 Bigg’s Tri-300 is a collaboration of the two icons of Naga City – the devotion to our Lady of Peñafrancia and Bigg’s Diner.

With this team, the group hopes to bring recognition to Naga’s icons by excelling in the sport of Triathlon. Bigg’s Tri-300 is a group of 45 young professionals competing in the multi-sports event of a Triathlon. The group is composed of individuals from the clergy, government sector, NGOs, and private sector. There are also several professional full-time athletes who are part of the team. The tea

m was formed in 2010 as a way of paying homage to the team members’ devotion to Our Lady of Peñafrancia. At that time, Naga City was celebrating 300 years of devotion to Ina (the Lady of Peñafrancia) and since Ironman 70.3 Philippines was being held for the 2nd time in CamSur, the members found it fitting to honor her by forming the team. The team was then called, Tri-Team 300. Bigg’s Diner is the largest food chain in Bicol with 11 branches in the region alone and 3 branches in Calabarzon. Its first branch in 1983 was right in the heart of Naga and since then, it has become synonymous with Naga City.

Once again, members of the Bigg's Tri 300 team shows that they are in it to win it! One conquered her first 42k during the Bull Run event.. Another defended his place as the Filipino Elite Champion in the Xterra Triathlon Race. Congrats to both Elaine Quinto and Neil Catiil for making us proud!
