The City Government of Naga, through the City Project Monitoring Committee, invites barangay leaders and designated focal persons to the Barangay Project Monitoring and Evaluation Committee Onboarding Session on August 3, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the PAGCOR Multipurpose Event Center.

The session was presided over by PMC Chairperson Atty. Domnina T. Rances. In attendance were prominent local officials and sectoral leaders, including Naga City Peopleโ€™s Council Chairperson Elmer T. Sto. Domingo, Jr., DILG Naga City Director Elmer M. Villanueva, City Councilor and Committee on Infrastructure Chairperson Hon. Francisco M. Mendoza, and Bagumbayan Norte Punong Barangay Hon. Racquel M. Tutanes. Joining them from the technical and urban planning sectors was United Architects of the Philippines-Camarines Chapter President, Ar. John Paul B. Arellano. Technical Working Group members Engr. Mario Christopher Gumba, Joseph Ibasco, and Angiena Gojit, alongside Secretariat members James Nathaniel Refugio and Engr. Arthur Victor Badiola provided administrative and analytical support during the session.

The committee facilitated the session through a data-driven review of ongoing project monitoring, inspections and technical engineering frameworks. Attendees deliberated on critical structural reports for vital city establishments.

ON THE GO. The Naga City Project Monitoring Committee (PMC) successfully convened its regular meeting focused on strengthening project monitoring and evaluation mechanisms in the city. Key discussions included support for the reconstitution of the Barangay Project Monitoring and Evaluation Committees (BPMECs), briefing of newly designated Technical Working Group (TWG) members from the City Budget Office, City Procurement Office, and General Services Office; updates on recent project monitoring inspections, and strategies to further strengthen the participation of private sector representatives in PMC inspection activities.

The meeting was presided over by PMC Chairperson Atty. Domnina Rances and attended by representatives from the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) โ€“ Naga Chapter represented by Engr. Philip Arthur C. Cedilla, the Naga City Peopleโ€™s Council represented by Mr. Elmer Sto. Domingo, Jr., the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) represented by Mr. Ralph Vincent Lagunsing, and the Liga ng mga Barangay represented by Barangay Captain Hon. Racquel M. Tutanes.
