BEYOND FIVE DAYS: A COMMUNITY UNITED FOR LEARNING
BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026
"Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman"
With hearts full of gratitude and pride, CEPOC Central Elementary School celebrates the successful conduct of the Brigada Eskwela 2026 โ and what a journey it has been!
We are deeply honored to have served as the Host School for the Kick-Off and Launching of Brigada Eskwela 2026 of the DepEd City of Naga Division. On June 1, 2026, the spirit of bayanihan came alive as a caravan began at the City of Naga Boardwalk, leading to an inspiring opening program right here on our grounds.
Our school was graced by the presence of the Schools Division Superintendent, Ronald G. Gutay, ASDS Atty. Leviticus M. Barazon Jr., SGOD Chief Dr. Ann Marie Bandola, CID Chief Dr. Jessica T. Trivinio, Education Program Supervisors, Principals and School Heads, and Division Personnel โ a powerful reminder that our learners are a shared priority.
Our local leaders also showed up โ Hon. Carmelino "Junjie" N. Cruz Jr. and Hon. Anecito B. Alinsonorin of the LGU City of Naga, the Tina-an Barangay Council led by Brgy. Captain Mayel A. Pao, the Philippine National Police under PLTCOL Dexter M. Calacar, and the Bureau of Fire Protection under City Fire Marshal FSINSP Shoji M. Mendaros.
Highlights:
๐คCommitment Wall signing โ participants from all sectors formally pledged their support, solidifying partnerships that go beyond a single week.
๐งผPhilippine Red Cross โ Cebu Chapter conducted a meaningful talk on handwashing and hygiene for parents and guardians.
๐APO Land and Quarry Corporation โ CHP set up a booth with prizes and a photo opportunity featuring Bai Matibay, their official mascot and brand ambassador. Aside from that, they also donated paints and painting materials and provided cleaning and disinfection materials.
๐จD.M. Consunji, Inc. (DMCI) donated and repainted our school gate โ a gift that will greet every learner, teacher, and visitor for years to come.
From June 1 to 5, 2026, volunteers and donors continued to arrive โ cleaning, fixing, and transforming our school into a place ready for learning when classes opened on June 8, 2026. The Brigada Eskwela 2026 culminated on June 5 with even more stakeholders and volunteer-partners giving their time and service.
But here's the truth we carry forward: Brigada Eskwela is not just five days in June. It is a year-round commitment โ a promise to keep our school a safe, nurturing fortress where our learners can grow, discover, and thrive. Every repaired classroom, every painted wall, every seed of partnership planted here is an investment in every child who walks through our gates.
To every volunteer, donor, partner, and community member who showed up โ DAGHAN KAAYO NGA SALAMAT! Your generosity does not end when the week does. We warmly invite everyone to continue extending a helping hand, because our children deserve a school that never stops getting better.
Join the movement. Extend beyond June.
