As of 8:00 AM today, 31 August 2026, Tropical Depression “PILANDOK” (LPA 08j) is being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, two Tropical Depressions, TD "SAUDEL" (formerly OBET) and TD (formerly LPA 08l) are being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

Additionally, LPA 08m is being monitored OUTSIDE PAR and has a MEDIUM chance of developing into a Tropical Depression (TD) within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

The Naga LDRRMO, together with the Naga Municipal Health Office (MHO) and other participating government agencies, took part in this significant undertaking that highlights the vital role of inter-agency coordination, operational preparedness, and collective action in strengthening territorial defense, disaster risk reduction and management, resilience, and community safety.
The activity further underscores the commitment of concerned government offices and agencies to fostering effective collaboration and enhancing institutional preparedness in addressing various hazards, emergencies, and challenges that may affect communities.

Through its continued participation in inter-agency exercises and capacity-building initiatives, the Naga LDRRMO and MHO reaffirm their commitment to supporting government efforts toward a safer, more prepared, resilient, and disaster-ready community.
Together, through strengthened coordination and collective action, we remain committed to building a resilient and secure community.

INCIDENT REPORT

Location: Aguinaldo National Highway, Naga ZSP

IN PHOTOS: The Naga Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (LDRRMC), chaired by Municipal Mayor Jouie T. Balladares, through LDRRM Office headed by Rogelio E. Fabiosa LDRRM Officer IV, received an emergency call regarding a Head-On Collision at the above-mentioned location.
Upon receipt of the report, MED-SAR from LDRRMO, together with personnel from Naga Municipal Fire Station - BFP R9 and Naga MPS immediately responded to the scene. Responders conducted a rapid assessment and provided necessary assistance.

• Scene safety assessment and traffic management to prevent secondary incidents
• Administration of first aid to the injured rider and 2 back-rider who sustained multiple injuries.

After on-site assessment and initial medical management, the patient was safely transported to Dr. George T. Hofer Memorial Hospital (DGTMC) for further medical evaluation and treatment.
The situation was placed under control at approximately 09:10 AM. Proper coordination was made with concerned authorities to ensure safety and order at the scene.

The LDRRMO reminds all motorists to practice defensive driving, wear proper protective gear, and strictly observe traffic regulations to prevent road accidents.
