#𝗕𝘂𝗵𝗶𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗜 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 — Pansamantalang pinahinto ng 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰) ang delivery ng mga election supplies at paraphernalia para sa 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗕𝗦𝗞𝗘) habang hinihintay ang pinal na desisyon ng Kongreso sa panukalang pagpapaliban ng halalan sa 𝗡𝗼𝗯𝘆𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝟮.

Ayon kay 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮, inatasan na nila ang mga supplier na i-hold muna ang paghahatid ng mga materyales na nabili na sa pamamagitan ng public bidding.

Kasabay nito, nakahanda rin ang Comelec na ipagpaliban ang training ng mga gurong magsisilbi sa halalan, na nakatakdang magsimula sa kalagitnaan ng Setyembre.

Nanawagan si Garcia sa Senado at Kamara na agad magbigay ng malinaw na desisyon kung itutuloy o ipagpapaliban ang BSKE, upang maiwasan ang dagdag na gastos at paghahanda ng poll body.

May mga panukalang batas nang inihain upang ipagpaliban ang Nobyembre 2 elections at i-reset ang BSKE sa 2028, kabilang ang panukala ni 𝗦𝗲𝗻. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗘𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗼 at ni 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗽. 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘇

Sa ngayon, nananatiling nakabinbin ang pinal na desisyon kung matutuloy ang BSKE sa Nobyembre 2.
