Please be informed that the Earth Hour event scheduled on March 28, 2026 (Saturday) has been cancelled pursuant to Executive Order No. 110, s. 2026, declaring a State of National Energy Emergency.

However, the clean-up drive at 6:00 AM and the observance of Earth Hour from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with the switching off of lights and non-essential electrical devices, will proceed as scheduled.

Ang Incident Management Team (IMT) for Tropical Cyclone Uwan ay nananawagan sa lahat ng Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committees (BDRRMCs) na agad kumilos kasabay ng pagpapatupad ng mga hakbang sa preparedness at response ayon sa iskedyul na ito:

📅 Nobyembre 7, 2025 (Biyernes)

Pagpapaalam at pagbabahagi ng Executive Order No. 2025-42

Reactivation ng mga BDRRMCs

Pag-identify ng lahat ng mga kabahayan na kailangang mag-evacuate ng lahat ng BDRRMC sa [email protected]

Initial Strategy Meeting ng IMT para sa TC Uwan

Mahigpit na pagbabawal sa paglalangoy, pangingisda, turismo, at lahat ng water-related activities

📅 Nobyembre 8, 2025 (Sabado)

Inspection ng e-balde kada kabahayan

Pagsuri ng evacuation centers at animal holding areas para matiyak ang kahandaan

Cleanup ng mga drainage at waterways (deployment ng barangay clearing teams)

Deadline ng submission ng listahan ng mga kabahayan na kailangang i-evacuate: 12:00 NN

Pagbibigay-abiso ng BDRRMCs sa mga high-risk households ukol sa pre-emptive at forced evacuation

Due to continuous heavy rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon, and upon the recommendation of the NDRRMC, Malacañang issued Memorandum Circular No. 90 suspending classes at all levels and work in government offices in the Province of La Union on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

⚠️ Government agencies delivering basic, vital, and health services must continue to operate.
📌 Work in private offices is left to the discretion of their respective management.

Due to continuous heavy rains brought by Tropical Depression Crising, and in the interest of public safety, classes in all levels (public and private) in the Municipality of Naguilian are suspended tomorrow, Friday, July 18, 2025.
